the person can start from close to zero, but will have to be willing to put in the effort to make a good translation. That will require using a lot of tools

In other word, can I think of this as internship?

What is the requirements (like job scope, having how much time required to at least spend on the translation each day/week, etc)?

Most important of all, what type of novel would people applying to this will be exposed to?

I am not really keen to train myself by translating stuff I avoided to read, like anything that has yaoi tags etc..

    Sorry for being fussy though.

    Yes, it's basically an internship.

The scope would be one chapter a week, but chapter length will also be considered. As for the type of novel, something simple will be provided, but it will also be flexible enough to take the applicants interests into consideration. If the person wants isekai, the person will get an isekai. If the person wants romance, it will be a romance.

If there is a story you are interested in, then you will be allowed to work on that as long as it isn’t yaoi or yuri. If not, then we can help provide a story to you based on your preferences.

What if I want to be an intermitent translator? I'm mid level right now, I have translated japanese novels and web novels before, both publicly and privately. I just don't want a commitment to be putting a x chapters every week.

That is acceptable, but what do you have in mind??
If you are interested in a paid position, that would have to be discussed, but other wise, it would be totally welcomed.
