    Someone told me (I'm not sure if it's true) that the reason the ML broke up with the MC is because he thinks the MC is using him for revenge because the evil witch Sitong, accdg to my source, is the reason why MC's parents are dead.. not sure. This info came from a friend of the person who told me.

    Yeah.. i really hope it's not true.. what i'm imagining is the ML broke up with the MC because he wants to protect her from Sitong because he knows that Sitong is capable of anything..

    Sitong is Yanchen's ex-fiance who was the one who "saved" (notice the "" on the word saved) him when he drowned in the lake when he was still young.
