Okay I know that most of the cultivation stories are rather repetitive. However I have just found one that is so very repetitive that it's rather horrific. The novel is dragon-marked war god. I won't say that the translator is horrible if anything I'd have to give him props for sticking it out as long as he has so far. I got to the point where I just read the title and move on to the next until I find one that seems unique. So anyone else find stories that are unbelievably repetitive that you could cut it down at the very least 1/3 of the entire story and still know what's going on within seconds?
Chaotic Sword God- MC just kill, run. And stuff. There this novel that was translated by Insane something translation, the MC is such a hypocrite, the plot is repetitive too.
I was just about to say this exact novel. I honestly can’t beleive how much time I wasted reading 500+ chapters when I already knew it’s true nature not even 100 chapters in.
Something which surpasses them- Peerless sword god War sovereign through the.... Something (probably heavens)
Dude almost all chinese novels about martial arts have similar plots.... And all of them have villains made in factories
Ive got 2 storys that arn't for you, if you have read them, then well, you're screwed. The Dark King Forty Millenniums of Cultivation
I haven't read the novel you mention since I usually skip novel that have harem in it. My friend, *pat*, though I have wasted my time reading til 300, that novel was cancer.
Good point, but still shouldn't be a thick-skinned writer and should make a real story over repeat after repeat.
the summary of that novel is MC dont like a particular arrogant young master....that master gets pissed and dies...the master's family gets pissed...they get face slapped....then they bring out the dinosaur from who knows where....MC knows he cant beat him...miraculously gets a power up(100% chance in loot crates) to beat the crap out of the dinosaur or gets a fellow face slapping side chara to save him....then the whole region gets pissed....and they get wiped out..... Rinse and Repeat....
What I find horrifically repetitive is tournament arcs in novels, Since instead of fighting its just who talks the most.
That novel is hopeless, i have try to continued to read it since the premise was promising (back then standard). I gave up after 300 something.
I have to agree with that statement. Almost every single one of the novels in those genre with martial arts have the exact same story plot. They're all working towards ascending to a higher level while endlessly beset upon by face smacking opponents who they'll call underhanded then turn around and do the same exact type of stuff as them to others later. It's to the point all I want these days is to find some nice slice of life novels to read.
What?, you are telling me that they are not grown in rice fields?, I mean considering the obsession with cultivation.
