Question How different is the rise of the shield hero from the LN and the Webnovel

Like added tension to the boring arcs, but in the end still the same.

 

I know later on they end up going to the other world in the LN which didn't happen in the WN
I think they got rid of the new sin arc from WN too

 

It explores what the waves actually are better. It actually establishes a relationship with other worlds and their heroes. It changed the giant spirit guardians story. Right now in the currently released ln, everything is diverging a lot. He just went to the beastman country and we had to explore the religious and political aspect of that. There are other world heroes whose worlds were destroyed so now they live here as heroes without a goal.

 

They already added Raph so I think they’re going to skip it

 

That's a little sad since I found that arc to be quite funny to be honest

did the mc ever recover his original personality?

tbh i think the personalty that he showed after the shield lost all of it's power for a brief minute (when he went mad and they beat him up, then he showed his pervy side) was his real personality.

everything that happened to the other heroes should have happened to him as well but our MC never really became "normal" like them cus mc never broke

 

The it changes the more it stays the same.

 

Everything after fight with giant turtle is different

 

The false rape accusation still happens in the manga though. So kinda disappointed that the LN removed that bit. It would have made the Bitch more worthy of her Bad Ending.
