I accidentally posted this without writing anything, now I can’t delete it. Hopefully everyone will ignore this, because this is kinda embarrassing.

Since you edited your original post from a question about submissive characters into "how to delete a thread", it might not get deleted anymore. Since your double post is already gone.
It might get merged into FAQ after a while, instead.

You cannot delete threads, and forum staff generally will not. You can report them to have them locked, as this one now is, but that's about as far as it goes. ... For future reference, posts have edit buttons, there is an 'add tags' button below the thread title, and there's a "thread tools" dropdown in the upper right, which allows you to change the title or add a poll to the thread. There is, essentially, nothing about your thread you cannot change after posting it, and no need to have it deleted or locked if that's your only issue.

As far as "strikes" go.. Warnings are warnings. They're "stop doing this or you'll be banned". Temporarily. Only the rare individual is permanently banned from the forums, and only because they work hard to earn that privilege. You don't have to be worried, in general, about doing something wrong, unless you're a persistent and aggressive rule breaker.

Err. In other words, do whatever you want (within the bounds of common sense), use the report button or PM staff if you have any issues, and don't stress too much over the details.
