how do you guys manage your read list?

HI guys,
how do u guys manage your read list? Are they all grouped up in one list or do you sort your list into catergories. I need to break my reading list into smaller groups or else I can't find anything. Personally I break my list into:
reading - read when release comes out
long term reads - read only when there is enough chapter for along reading session
paused - got board of or do not like it enough to read it stright away
dead - can't read because nothe being translated , translation speed or quality or just hate the the story
do you gus think we need filter on our read list?

 

Alphabetical order works fine for me

 

I've break it into 3 but I think I might get them all back in 2. Read and Dropped

 

Type of novels, like Summon, Re (reincarnator, regressor, etc) Cooking, game.
And then each one by recently updated.

 

I am chaos and chaos needs no system thought it ends up with me screaming

Well, it sort of ends up in weird groupings that make sense to nobody but myself.

 

A top priority checklist on the series to have that title marked with a different color on the front page will help alot.
Theres too much titles that I put on hold or are stuck at chapter 1 but dont want to really remove them from the list.
@Tony should think about implementing them for convinience sake.

What reading list? I either just bookmark stuff or commit the chapter to memory. Making a reading list here....the old me cant be bothered to do such annoying things.

 

Do I have to change my vote in the other poll to 11 to 15 now?

 

Just put it all in one type
I will know if the chapter that I marf is chapter 1, then it meanbi interested in it but don't start read it yet

 

Here’s how I organized my reading list.

Reading - novels I’m currently reading
Hiatus - novels I don’t feel like reading atm yet don’t wanna drop it
Drop - the name said it all
Waiting - accumulating chapters

 

For me it goes this way:

Interesting / laughable / weird / and Emperor Domination - At the top of the list; Rank - 1
Virtual world / Sci-fi with funny MC / basically everything funny + OP - at the Second top; Rank - 2
Something like Kings, Monarchs, paradises or terrors and other JPs / CNs / KRs - at the 3rd top; Rank - 3
Random mix ups / not regular updates / reading it but boring / sometime interesting & sometime sh1t - at the bottom rank; Rank - 4

Note: For Rank 1 & 2, the updates must be regularly.
For Rank 3, their attitude and behavior must be exceptional.
For the last one, that's just for collecting dust and turning rust.

 

Mine's public, and a total fucking mess.

Have several categories that I just toss stuff into, only really use a couple of them. Everything else I just forget about.

Reading - Stuff I'm kind of intent on reading but haven't got around to/caught up to current translations for
Dropped - Self explanatory
Holding (lack of interest) - Stuff I've read but don't really have the desire to keep reading
Holding (slow translations) - Pretty self explanatory, stuff that's not super interesting and takes longer than 1 week per chapter to eventually batch read
F5F5F5 - Stuff I want to read chapters of as soon as they're up
Completed - Self explanatory
Not Started (lack of interest) - Stuff I at some point thought "maybe I'd read that" so I tossed it in there to find it again eventually
Not Started (lack of translations) - Generally stuff with less than 20-50 chapters, or short stories with slow translations I don't want to start and stop repeatedly
Poor translations - Stuff I tried or saw that had such bad translation quality I had to be sure I never tried it again
Qidian (Adwall) - Stuff from QI that's behind an adwall that I wait for
Qidian (No Adwall) - Stuff from QI that's not behind an adwall (yet), King's Avatar is in there since Gravity hosts them at basically the same time
Qidian (Holding) - Just stuff from QI for misc uses, hold/dropped/adwall monitoring
Where the fuck did the updates go - Self explanatory, stuff I want to read but TLs seemingly abandoned.

Edit#2: Added "trash" list for novels that are clearly author masturbation stories.

 

We don't.

 

I separate into general tropes/genres I read so I can organize them. There's the usual "dropped" lists and such too.

Otherwise, it's too messy with them all in one list... But now there are too many tropes/genres so it's still messy...

 

I have the default "Reading" for those i'm currently trying to catch up. "Reading Now" for those that I'm reading and caught up. "Planning On" for those I'm planning on reading. "Paused" for those I stopped to pile up chapters. "Stopped" for those I just can't bring myself to finish. "On Hiatus" for those that are interesting but the translator had dropped it. "Completed" for those that are completely translated and I've completely finished reading.

 

Six categories. 'Jap drop', 'Jap now', chinese....... , korea......

 

Doesn't that already exists?
