It doesn't happen to me all that often because I mostly read books that are already finished and that I don't need a translator for. However when it does happen it sucks so I just move on to the next book. One difference for me is that I tend to read books from beginning to end so losing an ongoing book here and there isn't a big deal. If you're in the same situation, I suggest picking up a book that already has a completed translation so you don't have to worry about it.

Yeah, those get banned and don't get to see light of day for years instead!

Hahaha. Touche. I only watch dramas that have finished airing eg Flower of Evil which finished airing two days ago. It is Korean though but you get my point. I plan to binge watch it this weekend

This One. Its a Offbrand novel so proceed with caution. A wholesome Offbrand.

    Adult novels are not offbrand.

I rely on ads so I cannot touch that with a 10 foot pole.

    I recommend machine translation.
    Cheers!

I would lie on the bed, close my eyes and then start to fantasise the said dropped novel with my own plot in my imagination till I reach satisfactory ending.

It's still true, majority of KR novels still fail with it's pacing. That's why KR novels with more than 100+ translated chapters have really low scores now because the end goal of their MCs are met way too early. so the latter half of the novel is cringey interactions of the block of a wood MC and the rest of the female MC, whose also in love with the MC at that point. Sometimes even the other male side characters kinda have some weird bromance with the MC.

I would yeet myself and ask why am i born into this world with a story that has an unknown ending then i think i would have moved on after a month...then i'll reminisce it again and feel hurt until i'd hypnotized myself having my own desired ending's imagination.

Lol you should've MTL-ed it (If you don't link MTL sites, mtl it yourself, that's what I did) It's only 16 chapters after all

Though i also did cry bc INEBM was (unofficially) dropped by the author (So even if there is a translator, it wouldn't be finished ever)

That's why I don't read unfinished novels. I learned the hard way so I'm hoping I won't commit the same mistake again in the future. :blobupset:

Very effective indeed. I do that with unsatisfactory endings too. Just like I did with Noblesse recently... It does feel really great. Imagining the story under the shower cools my head too.
