Yes, it does stand for that. You can use Google Translate to do it, other than that, I don't know any good websites.

    Site to read mtl
    1. Lnmtl : best site

    Ways to read mtl
Copy the links to raw site(pirated or free raws, basically publically available)
Go to systran website and use their online free Translator to mtl
    Systran for Chinese only...
For japanese Google translate is better
    .......
Most jap novels raws can be found on syosetu

I have userscripts to download mtl from both Google and systran...
But not going to give as they are too complicated... But you might tell me which novel and i don't mind sharing epub(mtl) if possible

Google isn't a good website when it comes to CN - English. They fuck up a lot. Baidu works better both sentence structuring and translation accuracy wise. Systranet is more direct than both and isn't too bad to double check what you get. That said, MTL in general is gonna make you wanna kill yourself. I'd suggest doing it a 词语 at a time if you can tell which words constitute one.
Oh yeah, Bing is slightly better than google and Naver is worse than google.

    Please, don't.

There are already a lot of MTL groups out there, and even with good comparative translator engines and dedicated translation checkers that know what they are doing, the quality is subpar, not to mention if the translation checkers dosn't know what they are doing (more common), there is no translation checkert (even more common), the translator doesn't even know enough english (way more common) or they just dump content from a regular translation engine (sadly the most common).

I'd suggest getting to learn at least a bare minimum of japanese (and english, if that's the case) before venturing in this field.

The earliest translations of Legendary Moonlight Sculptor and old guys from Japtem used to do MTL. I once applied as an MTL'er at Japtem, they sent me this english google translated version of raw Arifureta to test my skill. I gave up because the MTL is just very hard to understand, however I highly respect the Japtem group for actually producing quality works using MTL. If you read MTL it will take time to adapt. I considered actual translation better than MTL though.

Do you somewhat understand the language you want to translate, and just need help? Is this to publish for others, or for personal use? MTL for personal use when you know the language, you are just a bit slow at reading works great. If you don't know what the underlying words are saying it gets a bit hard. In google it will translate names, badly. I have no idea how Jifengyan or "fragrant breeze Ji" can become "Monsoon Cigarette" but google sensei declares it so. This together with its attempts at understanding grammar and the authors sometimes use of incorrect characters makes for some humorous and bizarre readings. If you can't read and understand it (though slowly) it gets annoying. I would not recommend dumping this on others, Señor Google can do it for them.

Using systran and google at the same time to comprehend because sometimes when mtl chinese novel , the characters name also will be translated and tht's weird and confusing so i use more than one translation. Helps a lot but still falls behind human translator :p.
    Hail translator

Only Google mtl is possible right now...

Copy-paste from Google Translate, change one or two words, and you're done.

As long as you change a few words here and there you can claim "it's edited" and nobody will say a word, thus it'll get published on NU without problems.

GT for JP, KN; Systranet for CN. Or just use different translation tools to get the best result.
