How Does Novel Updates Work?

So following the instructions listed, including the novel name and putting it into a category with the same name, but still having to manually add each chapter release, how do I get it added to be auto updated like other groups?

For the series I'm currently working on:

I Almost Died After Being Trained Into A Dungeon, But I Endured And Returned With Incredible Strength

 

If the releases that you manually added were already approved, then you just need to wait until Tony adds your novel to the bot that will automatically fetches your release. He needs to do this manually, so it may take a few days or weeks.

Like... After you release a new chapter on your website, wait a few minutes to see if it appears on NU... If it doesn't, then add it yourself.

Keep on doing this until the release appears on its own. At this point you'll know that the release is now being automatically fetched, so you don't need to add it manually.

 

True, although even after adding my releases manually, I'm still having to wait 3-6 hours after releasing the chapter on my site and me sending a add release for the chapter before it actually pops up on NU as a release

 

Yeah, not much can be done other than waiting. Tony will add it to the bot at some point.

Until then, keep adding it manually.

 

Hey Tony I want to ask if Novel Updates Uses Custom Rss Importer From Xenforo To Detect Category + And Title For Auto Loading.

I use Blogger And every Atom, RSS, Or Feed Always Redirects To Feedbunner Does That Affect Automatic Updates?

 

Novel Updates does not use Xenforo, only the forums use it.

Is Using Feedbunner Also A Problem When My Update Uses 2 Labels In Chapter , I Think The Second Label Is The Problem

 

So I'm writing a novel that is my original work ... It has asian setting but i wrote in English ... So can I upload it here ... I'm the author and it's written in only English language ... I don't know what I'm supposed to do .

 

original works are not allowed on nu, only translations

 

How can you update a novel if you have no translation group nor intention to be in one?, I just want to update the translated novel, and be done with it.

Creating a group in NU is basically just adding your name and the site's url.

Hello, I am currently translating a book but the new updates are not showing on NU even when I manually updated it.

 

Wildlioness group is not approved somehow, one of them is grammar and I checked and corrected these errors due to a few errors, and it looked like the group, series had already been added, so I sent it from the add-release and I'm waiting for it to be approved, It's been a long day but still not approved, I'm still waiting.

 

After publishing my first group, it is still not confirmed. I spoke to a few staff members and they told me there were errors, so I looked at my novel and corrected a few grammatical errors and words to be corrected and resubmitted it but it was still not approved, so I looked at the novel again. there seems to be no error i guess i will give up thanks for everything nu group seems really hard to add.
