Discussion How many people's numbers do you have in your phone book?

there are too many people of the same name and at one point it gets too mixed up. and redundant

Hm... this is probably not possible for me. there are more than 10 million people in my city

 

Why wouldn't it be possible? For the phone book you just treat it like almost any other paperback book and it will hold for decades (don't spill liquids on it, don't leave it propped open (ruins the "spine"), keep it in a dry area etc.etc.

For the rotary phone it's just as easy because all you have to do is plug the phone into the phone jack for your landline phone and you are good to go. Even if you no longer have service you could still make emergency calls, collect calls, and reach the operator. (presuming your phone jack or line isn't messed up)

 

Just over 50 if you include other forms of messaging. I only save people when needed or if they are close friends.

But if you were to take into account my family phonebook which my mom keeps, thats more than a hundred.

Wow…. How do you all network? Like surely some of you are working adults right? Surely you need to contact more than 50 ppl once upon a time right??


I have 1800 contacts. I hardly if ever call more than 5 often and more than 20 rare ish ly. So there’s that but are the rest useful some random day?
Yes atm I am looking for new opportunities and those contacts and all relationships help. So I am really curious how y’all network around. Please reply to me.
