I've searched the FAQ and can't find out how to add or suggest a novel. I've been reading Wizarding Immortal on LNMTL site and do not see it listed in NU. Anyone know?
You either misread or misinterpreted the post. OP wanted a Novel to be added on the site not translated.
NU allows only series with translated chapters available to be added. And pure MTL doesn't count as a translation.
no, he is right.....if you want a novel added on NU, you need to first translate them.....pure mtl isn't allowed on NU....
Probably because NU also removes chapters with dead links, so those novels used to have chapters but the translator's website died.
those novels, have death link. They translated the novels, added on NU after that the domain(site server) stopped working so link became invalids but the page remain.
Ahhhh, I see! I believe this novel do have a translation web site. Most of the time, I prefer LNMTL because the translations are generally so bad that it ruin the reading experience. I guess I'll add the series via the above suggestion from @Kalto Thank you! (wow, I can quote the message in my reply because I have not posted 5 times. wth!).
Oh, you'd be surprised at how bad some translations can be. Not necessarily MTL, because it's obvious when something is MTL. It's bad because the translators/editors: Make many typos. I can understand typos, I do that too. But that's what editors are for, and some typos are so bad and consistent, they happened over and over and over. Some time the translators/editors add words and make changes that completely change the original novel intention. I understand adjusting sentence during translating to make it more readable, but if you add extra words or move sentence around, it changes the story. I have also seen where it look like translators/editors learned some big new words and they tried to use it where those words do not fit the context. But they "slammed" it in there anyway. Ugh! I have also seen where some words or phrases are overused. It get very tiresome because they do not fit the context and become distracting. Heh, it's just me kvetching. It's my pet peeves. So I do not mind MTL as I know exactly what to expect and I like LNMTL because I can make suggestions and corrections.
