I'd like to be able to create a new poll in an existing thread. It would be super helpful for our book group to decide what book to read each month without having to move the group to a new thread.
Can you create a poll after the thread has been going for a while? I didn't see the option anywhere. Plus I don't really want to bug the mods to delete the old poll every month.
I have seen new polls being create in yuri garden atleast. As for bugging the mod, I dont think they mind but just ask them I guess?
I don't know if regular member and what I see is the same, but if you want I can try deleting your poll so you can try adding a new one.
I make a lot more reports than just one per month! XD I don't think the mods would mind it too much~ See? Grandma is okay with helping! \(^^)/
So that's where it is! Thank you! In that case, I guess what I really want is for the thread creator to be able to delete their own poll. I'm going to update this thread title.
Sadly, forum features are really unlikely to happen. Tony doesn't know that much about how to code for Xenforo, and he'd rather spend that time programming for NU or Scribblehub instead. I do agree it would be nice, but... It's unlikely to happen.
I don't think a regular member can do that but you can just report it so a staff will delete it for you. Most reports are handled within a few hours on NUF.
Apparently it is also possible to delete the poll. It's under "edit poll". I feel a bit silly, but hopefully this thread will be helpful for others in the future.
Okay, I could have sworn there was a "delete" option, but now I can't find it. Am I crazy, or did this actually disappear?
