Nope. Never heard it before. I could use several languages for the same thing, but I don’t because it’s an inside joke. That many won’t understand. As for Chinese stories I could go off on a lot of things about Chinese novels or language, but I won’t because as I’ve said them before. There’s no point bring it up again.
As to “Dog Food” keep it in Chinese or at least refer to it as a Chinese saying. Just looking at the title just reminds me of a bad translation

While I agree they could have been kinder, I also think you were wrong to tell people not to use slang from the novels they've read on this site while posting in this forum. @Avgust used the slang, but also made it clear in the first post what the slang meant for anyone who is new to the site or doesn't read Chinese novels. There's no reason to tell them not to use the slang. The reason we're on this site is because we enjoy reading amateur-translated novels. Otherwise we could just read English novels written in English or professionally translated novels somewhere else. The reason we're on this forum is because we want to talk with other people who share our hobby. Using some of the fun foreign slang we've learned is a part of the joy of being here. It's a little joy that we can share with each other here that we can't enjoy in many other places. Also, PDA is also slang, and many folks on this forum are not native English speakers and might not know what it means either.
