So, i just finished arc 5, and MC asked system why it didn't remind him that ori host about to die (like in the original plot, MC normally will die according to the time host died in the original plot) but system said it's special mission and MC has to live until the end of his life (bc old age or sth ? ) since the ori host wish was to protect his tribe plus to never let his tribe found out about him being a male, so MC has to wear female dress even after he finished his mission. So this time can be considered happy end arc, bc ML married MC, and they're so famous bc protecting ppl during war w/ barbarian. At first ML treat MC as a female, and when ML accidentally saw MC naked in spring lake (it's was foggy), ML said he'll take responsibility bc saw naked MC, he didnt fully see MC, so PFFT, ofc MC rejected ML, told him that Miao women won't marry Han tribe, he didn't tell ML about his gender, bc there was a ban that forbid MC to say "i'm a man". Lmfao, and can i mention that ML was in denial about his feeling after found out MC was a male (he accidentally touch MC's chest) ? ML said to MC that he'll be MC's brother, and MC later tease ML that once ML has a wife and MC has a wife, they can marry their children, which makes ML uncomfortable bc ML still in denial about his feeling LOL ML in the original plot supposedly collect his harem, but in this arc he ended up getting jealous bc MC checking out one of ML harem "member" (MC just want to see~ ohhh, so this girl also original harem member~ sth like that) ML super jealous bc he didn't want anything catch MC attention. ML only want MC to see himself lol. ML even almost killed one of supposedly his harem member bc she attacked MC, and when MC tried to give him another pill to make ML has a 'dream' which could appease his insanity (ML learned The devil's heart sutra, and this could drive ppl like madman or obsessive about things), ML only managed to dream a bit before soon ML about to do MC, but even under his obsession, ML still remember that they should marry first, and he's like using his blood (ML's hand got hurt bc protect MC from the attack) and color his white clothes w/ it and using it as veil for MC, so it'll like they're on their first night (iirc in arc 2, MC married ML, so MC thought ahh so even he didn't have memory of that time, he still subconsciously has great attachment over marriage). And ML did MC thoroughly lol

There's actually no harm done if you decided to stack up chapters and release one whole arc in one go, like how Kez and ShenHua did for FoD and IANEWtbaSML respectively. decided to do arc 7, bc cat MC xDD Spoiler: arc 7 The client from arc 7 came from interstellar world, human in this world, mostly who comes from royal family or noble could become shapeshifter. And client (oriHost)'s name is Xia Lingheng, his father (Xia Zefang, entitled as Prince Rong) is the brother of previous emperor, and after prev emperor died, Prince Rong became a regent, he taught the only son of previous emperor, Xia Zhaoming, once he old enough, Prince Rong willingly give back the power to Xia Zhaoming (emperor Zhao). Born in that kind of royal family, Xia Lingheng, our orihost actually quite spoiled &pampered, he's smart and all, the only flaw probably he's bit arrogant and bad mouth. There's actually no grievance from Orihost but the problem is the ghost department actually make mistake bc not collect orihost's soul soon after he died, so orihost wander in his world and watch how the royal family destroyed/disappear, and later saw Xia Lingqi (?), orihost's half-bro took over the throne then change Huaxia dynasty become republic/parliament system. And bc orihost's soul become too strong even Meng Po's soup couldn't erase his memory (so he could go to reincarnation cycle), that's why this mission given to MC. So, orihost want to know how he died/who killed him, and 2nd wanted to take over the throne (not sure whether to take the throne) and make everyone bow down to him. But the 2nd mission is not a must. When MC took over, orihost still 8 y.o, and currently was running away from home just bc want to see the world outside. This world actually based from novel, and MC just a cannon fodder in that novel. In the novel it did write that MC lost few years but managed to back safely, it's not detailed written, that's what his little assistant (system) told MC. During that, the ship was attacked by star pirate, MC ran away and reached a certain planet where he met ML. MC complained that he might starve to death bc failed to hunt rabbit, and iirc when MC faint, ML brought MC to a cave and let MC live there. Whenever MC wakes ML, ML will hide himself, but he still taking care of MC meal, when MC said that he bored of meat, later he'll saw some wild berries on table, so MC sure that ML's watching himself. Until one day MC felt pain in his body, it's actually bc MC will awake his gene blood (shapeshifter). It was really painful, as if the body reorganized. Once MC no longer felt the pain, he found there's sth wrong, and ML, which finally no longer hide understand that MC wanted to see how his gene looks like, and gave MC mirror. MC shocked bc what he saw is a little silver-gray tabby cat! It's not majestic at all! In the original novel Orihost never awaken the gene at all, or at least it wasn't written, no wonder orihost never show it, if it's tabby cat it's better to not awake at all LOL iirc MC even tried to act intimidate to ML, but ofc it looks cute instead. Although cat-MC not looks intimidated at all, but he actually could perceive others thought when the others thought so strongly. ML taking care cat-MC, he even make MC drink leopard milk bc the meat actually too hard so MC can't chew. MC complained that this cat teeth even weak and couldnt chew the most tender meat which prepared by ML. But even after drank the leopard milk MC still couldn't back to human form. MC also said to ML that ML will be his personal servant/butler, yes, the only one which elated ML. ML always thought he never has identity before, the only one he remember is his drunken father who'll beat ML since ML still 3 years old, and bc ML constitution different ML never got hurt from the beating. And one day, not sure what happened when ML open his eyes his hand already piercing his father chest, and the father said that ML is a monster, afterward he join star pirate (forgot whether join or kidnapped). Only a bit, until the star pirate was attacked by military and ML ran away from them and end in this waste planet. He thought MC was like sun light, anyway different existence from ML, and MC only deserve the best. MC also taught ML how to smile, bc most of the time ML gave out murderous aura whenever meet human, ML hates human, and the only exception is MC. How to smile when meet other ppl, MC told ML to think of MC, MC even licked ML cheek to make ML calm down and such. MC wanted to back to orihost original planet before the plot will start, so he needed ML to collect sth like fuel so they can leave waste planet. Btw, MC gave ML a name, it's Xia Liangming. One day there's a girl who wanted cat-MC, ofc ML rejected. This girl is a daughter of south (i think south? or west?) leader/tyrant, she thought MC just a normal cat, so he used a herbal mint (i think sth like catnip?) to lure MC, and MC who has cat instinct followed the nice scent, when woke up he found himself in a strange room, there's lot of cat toys and even ball of wool, MC think he won't give up on cat instinct and play w/ those toys, but MC suddenly like awake from sth and asked his system what's just happened to MC, his little assistant show how MC happily play w/ the ball of wool LOL. ML w/ murderous aura went to the leader home, he knocked all the guard and even the leader. The girl terrified after saw it, ML only soften after heard MC's nyaaa~ MC can talk normally but he prefer to not talk w/ human language in front of others. And ML become the youngest south leader. fast forward 10 later, ML+MC met this person who has small ship which can brought them out from this planet, and bc ML+MC already found enough resources (fuel) they soon left waste planet. In Huaxia, even if MC lost for 10 years, but bc his light brain not destroyed it means that he still alive or maybe MC died in a place that can't be reach, so the light brain never show anything. That's why Prince Rong never confirm that MC is death to certain department. Once MC could connect to Prince Rong, he said that he could reach Huaxia in half a month. MC finally met w/ Prince Rong, Prince Rong hugged MC, like a perfect father who missed his son, but there's sth wrong, MC could perceive that Prince Rong thought isn't like the father who just meet w/ his long lost son, his thought actually quite calm. MC also saw Xia Lingqi and his mother, Xia Lingqi was born from a maid, the maid took advantage when Prince Rong was drunk and climbed his bed. MC's mom who feel sorry for the innocent life (Xia Lingqi) inside the maid's womb let it be. Btw MC's mom died bc of dystocia. When Xia Lingqi introduced himself to ML, MC saw sth wrong, bc Lingqi looks worship or like ML, it's too bad that MC not in his cat form, bc in cat form he could know better. Later MC know why Lingqi worship ML (he heard Lingqi's thought), bc Lingqi in his thought said that he finally met male god, and that ML is actually the villain in the novel. Which means Lingqi know the plot of the novel, and that he, Lingqi, is the protagonist. MC entered school, he's using back door (ask the emperor) to let him join special class w/o exam and bring ML too. Most of the special students feel contempt on MC, some even tried to duel w/ MC, altho MC accept the duel but he let ML to take care of it, it did not break the rule, so LOL everyone just couldn't complain. They also met Zhao Jingjia, a princess from diff planet which came to Huaxia, Lingqi also happy when see her so MC wonder whether this girl has thing to do w/ plot too. Later in palace MC met w/ Empress Dowager, she said that MC and Jingjia has marriage agreement. Bc empress dowager worried that MC still not awake his gene (MC didn't tell anyone), so it's better to marry, plus Jingjia actually has spiritual ability (just like MC). Jingjia didn't like MC, bc in her pov MC only a waste 2nd generation and without any ability. ML accidentally save her, and made Jingjia fall for ML. ML can only see MC in his eyes, so didn't care about her. And Lingqi soon scheme w/ Jingjia to separate ML+MC. iirc Jingjia mix her blood which contain her spiritual abilities with wine (mtl, so not sure, pls correct this part). MC likes wines, so ML always try to get wine which suitable for MC, and taste it. ML actually know that there's sth wrong and that someone was watching him in the wine store, but his instinct told him that it's good for him, so ML still taste it. In original plot, after ML tasted it, his gene blood will soon wake up, and he+Jingjia will roll sheet for night, later after knew that Jingjia broke her ability to awake ML's gene, Jingjia will be ML's white moonlight. But this time, Lingqi brought ML to an inn, he left a bit (to call Jingjia?), and ML woke up. ML back to MC's place and did MC thoroughly and when MC scratch ML's back there's sth like scale, ML's gene is a dragon. After they did it MC found there's sth wrong w/ ML bc he didn't wake up, so MC entered ML's consciousness/spiritual world ? and saw there's dragon, but there's sth like chain which chained it. MC tried to appeased it and make ML much better. After ML conscious they talked that Lingqi+Jingjia was in the wine store and probably the one who scheme all of this. Next morning in the sky there's a tabby cat which looks like MC, the experts who studied gene chain recognized that the cat actually the 2nd stage of spiritual awakening ability and ppl couldn't take their off from the cat. The spiritual ability actually the 2nd stage of awakening gene, it could protect one-self from spirit/mind attack, and at the same time it could also control others mind if powerful enough, so it more powerful than normal gene combat ability. And one time prince Rong met w/ empress dowager, they kinda drunk, they rolled sheet and result in empress dowager pregnancy. She gave birth twins, one of the baby has a mark that she saw somewhere (iirc similar Prince Rong) and shocked empress dowager. The twins has diff father, one belong to prev emperor, and the other one was prince Rong's son. Luckily not much ppl present and only empress dowager close maids who helped her, and she gave msg to Prince Rong about the twin Few days later Prince Rong wife died during labor, and the kid also died too, at first empress dowager thought Prince Rong did sth to the wife, but Prince Rong said he didn't do anything. So the baby on the Prince Rong's now the baby of Prince Rong & empress dowager. Soon prev emperor died bc sick when he's about to back to Huaxia. Prince Rong said to empress dowager that all of this misfortune bc of the previous emperor, empress dowager asked what he want to do ? retaliate ? Prince Rong replied her Isn't prev emperor so proud of his pure blood line and hate a maid son ? what if the one on the throne is our son ? Prince Rong exchanged the kid, empress dowager remind him to take care of the baby. Prince Rong told her to not worry, but he actually throw the kid somewhere and took other kid as Xia Liangheng (MC). MC did dna test, and found that he has no father-son relationship w/ prince Rong, and he's not the real Xia Lingheng. The current emperor, Xia Zhaoming, is the real Xia Lingheng, and the son of Prince Rong and empress dowager, then the real Xia Zhaoming, who's son of prev emperor is . . . Xia Liangming, our ML. Prince Rong deliberately sent baby ML to someone who likes to drunk, and even the star pirate that involve ML actually also Prince Rong plan, the only mistake was ML managed to run away from star pirate. Later Prince Rong confront Liangqi what he actually did ? why did he get close w/ Jingjia ? Liangqi did not expect that Prince Rong will pay attention to what he did. Prince Rong gave Liangqi drugged, and under drug Liangqi confessed to what he knows, about ML background and that royal family will die in the ML's hand. Prince Rong said it's impossible w/ ML's current strength, but Liangqi said that Jingjia later in the plot sacrifice herself by break her spiritual ability and help ML to complete his awakening. Prince Rong then called ML and said that Jingjia in his hand. So they fight, and Prince Rong like using Jingjia blood (?) to suppress ML gene, so his dragon will be sucked deeper or sth, MC helped him by self-destruct his spiritual ability to make ML gene free, when ML saw the spiritual cat getting transparent, ML was like a vortex and sucked all the spiritual/energy around him. Prince Rong fainted, and Liangqi+Jingjia who's there also become normal human bc all the energy was sucked by ML. MC didn't lose his ability tho, i think ML sucked others energy to prevent MC self-destruct or lost his ability. Everyone saw dragon in the sky, and feel terror bc of it's murderous aura, but soon, there's a tabby cat which touch the dragon's face, and the dragon became the majestic dragon w/o it's terrible aura. And after knew ML's experience, like he lived w/ a drunken father who likes to beat him, met w/ star pirate and later lived in wilderness, empress dowager felt so guilty, bc the kid who's supposed to have everything actually ended like that. So she confessed in front of Huaxia ppl that she had sin and told them about the real identity of ML. Afterward she went to remote planet and banned herself for atonement. Current emperor abdicate, and ML became the new emperor, he also made MC as a side-by-side-king (?). And MC made outstanding contribution of the brain development. And when Alien started a war, the army which composed of spiritual abilities created by MC made a great contribution against the mental attack of alien. And the image of giant tabby cat in universe which lead the army back from war w/ alien pass down into history. Later they changed Huaxia as republic, parliament system and ML became the last emperor of Huaxia dynasty. Orihost wanted to know who killed him, in the original plot, can be said it's Xia Liangming (ML), more accurately Prince Rong. Bc Prince Rong lead to ML awakening gene, and bc it can't be controlled, so ML sucked all the energy around, including Xia Lingheng, so, he died unconsciously in sleep. MC also saw Xia Lingheng pov in original plot after MC finished his mission. Xia Lingheng also fall to forest like MC, but difference was if ML saved MC, ML expelled Xia Lingheng from forest, and only meet w/ ML years later after ML become a leader. They then worked together to leave waste planet. Xia Lingheng only think ML as servant, and as his possession, so when he knew that he has marriage agreement w/ Jingjia, Xia Lingheng agreed. Unfortunately he died in his sleep bc ML sucked all energy around him. MC also saw Jingjia's pov, bc ML tempted by Jingjia, he awakening his ability, but later fell into trap and life at stage, couldn't bear to see ML sadness, Jingjia sacrificed her ability to fully awakening ML's ability, and since then she disappeared. It followed w/ Xia Liangming (ML)'s pov, saw Jingjia sacrificed herself, ML finally opened his heart, But things are irreparable. Caught in madness he sucked all energy around Prince Rong's palace, activated dragon mech and slaughter entire imperial city. After regain his intellect he found out about Prince Rong's crime. Even though he killed lot ppl, but there's still ppl who supported ML to sit on the throne. ML became the most brutal emperor and also the last. Xia Lingqi, the prince who managed to escape, back and overthrow the cruel rule and change Huaxia became republic. After that MC didn't care about Xia Lingqi pov.

Orihost doesn't have much talent (or more in bottleneck), where his twin bro have more talent than Orihost, forgot how the Orihost died, and the twin was like the protag in this world. but it's actually not like that, it's all scheme by their adopted parents (i think adopted), bc of certain prophecy or sth like that, so they dug orihost heart (swear i rly forgot whether it's heart or what, so please correct me) then change the heart for Ori twin, that's why the twin has more talent and shine in the original plot, when it's actually orihost talent. MC took over, he left home w/ reason bc he's join this certain uni so they not suspicious. Afterward MC started practice so he'll be better than twin, he also did live broadcast, but hide his face (he's also crossdress iirc LOL), and ML watched the video and fascinated w/ MC, he even become fanboy and follow MC acc (even tho ML normally is iceberg) Btw ML is from a powerful exorcist family, and he's a genius in it, plus called Little uncle by all family disciple there. ML moved to next door apartment, and accidentally met MC who's crossdress and locked outside his apartment door LOL he asked ML to help him to get key or sth. When ML saw MC, ML closed the door right away, MC thought ML sees him as perv, ML soon back w/ more neat clothes pffft ML wants show his perfect side to MC. ML even learned how to date, like did candle light dinner which surprised MC. ML also helped MC to shoot MC live broadcast, so it's more like a pro. And most the time so much fans, fangirling over MC figure or the way he killed the monster. For the twin, he tried to pour dirty water on MC (he did not know yet that MC = his bro), said about MC stole his supposedly prey, but ofc later it's revealed that the twin failed to kill the prey bla bla bla and twin finally know during exorcists tournament that MC = his twin bro. Their parents surprised too and even asked MC to back to home, his twin soon know about the heart exchange, and thought that that heart is his heart, and the talent supposedly the twin's talent, so twin want the heart back and scheme to drug MC, and will do operation when MC unconscious. Did not remember the detail, but ofc the operations failed (iirc ML also come to save MC). The parents+twin was punished and they no longer part of of exorcist community and become normal human, so their live a bit hard since they have to work like normal human. As for MC+ML they become super well known and powerful (iirc they also in a fight w/ monster/demon and become a legend) That's the gist of it
Woah, the world setting was really good but the face slapping seems a bit short. It would have been more satisfying if the payback was more than one. BTW is MC legitimate child? Did that scum twin knew the true constitution of the heart they gave MC? I read a bit of the first and second chap, said twin heart was blocked and through MC's hard effort did it finally opened. Did the twin knew that?
There's lot of face slapping in this arc, it's just i cant remember all OTL. iirc both adopted, or if not adopted, it's bc twin more weak when he was born so parents dug the orihost or sth,(i rly don't have reliable memory, so please correct me LOL) and no legitimate or illegitimate child thing. Only later the twin know about the heart exchange and want the heart back bc he thought that heart was his. but the twin never know that the heart was blocked and can only opened bc MC hard work.
