Yo man, i just realized that from a page worth of updates in NU, there are at least around 90% CN and 10% japan and korean. I dont really like cn since they have a lot of shitty things like racism, overnationalism, and shits also plots used are very common. Is there any way to remove languange specific novels? Im really desperate to remove cn rn

Work in reverse, when searching, search specifically for Korean and Japanese novels instead.

Go to "series finder", there u can search for a specific language or genre.

I've been thinking about writing a script that adds every Chinese novel on the site to a reading list called "Blocked" that hides it from the main page.

There's still no filtering based on raw language, so bear with it

I also have the same problem as you

https://www.novelupdates.com/account/ > Site Settings > Enable Origin Tagging (Colored).

Then in uBlock Origin choose element picker mode and click on whatever, then in the text field that shows up replace what you see with:
    Code:
    ##tr:has(.orgcn)
    ---
IDK about other adblockers, but this didin't work with Adblock Plus on Firefox.

As the others have stated, there is no filtering by language option on NU.

Therefore, I'll show you a simple way to differentiate them without having to go their novel page and see what language it is.

On NU, move to Account Setting. Choose Site Setting.

    Then, check this box.

Your NU home page would now show the releases with this beside the titles.

Damn how come i never think of that, thanks bud for the advice. But many korean novels are really good tho so i think i will filter them manually, thanks tho

Thanks for the advice but i think its really easy to differentiate between korean, cn, and japs novels since they mostly have specific pattern in the title

    Is it working for android?

I cant filter it by languange

It does. At least on standard Firefox (for android) with uBlock Origin addon. I'm too lazy to check other combinations.

There aren't really a lot of websites that have the filters though. I always end up giving up after searching for like 15 minutes.
