polygamy/harem has never occured in any of the novels i read that are set in modern world unless it's a cultivation novel that's set in modern world and the MC wants to return to the cultivation world (like return to the immortal world)

so it's weird that you think polygamy is okay from reading novels

you're probably easily influenced so you should probably stop reading novels and playing violent games

I've been watching anime for more than 20 yrs now and I still have a decent view in life. IDK how could you see an abusive person and be okay with it, nor how could anime even make you think that way. I think some people are just innately evil, regardless of what they see or learn from the internet.

 

I can say with a fact that anime has not changed my world view at all! Master dog still thinks Master dog is superior to all and shall remain a virgin forever!

I think anime just attracts the socially dysfunctional in the first place, people who already think and believe weird things.

 

Your post made me realize a few things, no its not weeb culture. Somehow I came to think like that (- the stalker bit) wayyy before being indoctrinated into this weird culture,
but if i were to choose how said culture affected me.
well, it made me realize how lackluster real life actually is and how unsatisfying real romance is.

 

Isn't there polygamy and harems in real world too? And it's the same as in novels, only strong/rich people can have multiple wives. It's always been like this, so i don't think there's anything wrong with it.
I mean i understand that it's wrong, but it's not like i can change something, there will always be people that can have multiple wives (and it doesn't even really matter if they want it or not, just look at forced marriages). Besides, there will always be women that will be fine with poligamy, so yeah, if it's not a forced thing, why bother?
