How will NUF handle the dual hosting between QI and GT?

    Original Question:

    EDIT: NUF staff have replied

    I recently checked up on Gravity Tales again, looking for some novels I might not have read, and noticed that a few hours ago they had put up an announcement that GT and QI will be dual hosting the chapters of novels GT has licensed from QI. The novels are set to be hosted on QI a while (the exact delay isn't stated) before being put up on GT.

    My question is, given that Novel Updates stated in the not-too-distant-past that rehosted chapters will not be listed in the updates, how will they handle this situation? Will only the QI chapters be listed (since they are going to be up before the GT chapters), or will GT be listed, since it would appear that because of the licensing agreement, and the fact that the translators are with GT and not QI, GT is the primary hoster?

    Sorry to bother again. I just have another related question. Should QI put up a paywall or something similar across their entire website in the future that would disqualify their chapters from being listed on NU, would you then link to the GT chapters, even though they would then technically still be rehosted chapters? Or would you then just not link to any of the hosts?

    Don't ask, just let the staff deal with it..... ask the staff if you want to know... just enjoy your update and don't make any new drama...

    I'm not trying to make any new drama. I am tired of all the drama that's been going around lately. But I am interested to know what NU will do, and I assume many others will be interested as well. It's for that reason I asked this here, rather than directly, personally contacting the NU staff.

    I think they have already addressed this matter. Now the question is, how will they handle the adwall by Qidian. Will they remove Qidian links because of the wall, or will they still allow it?

    NU links to the first available source of a chapter - in this case, that's QI.

    I answered it in another thread, though. .... We're currently not linking to adwalled chapters. The reason isn't the adwall, however - it's the appwall. The requirement that you download their app to read the chapters in mobile view. That's too much..
