I want to say that Shiro Buta has an initial plot similar to your request. the male lead is a competent young lad who was turned off by the MC (female lead) who is fat and treats everyone horribly. MC discovers her previous memory and works hard to become a better person and loses weight... the series gets more complicated from there.
