Started mtl it but so far it seems like your typical reincarnation story. The heroine is 2 faced and the villainess is a misunderstood tsundere. The mc and ml truly love and care for each other. The ml is some distant bastard son of royalty and can compete with the crown prince for king. That is until the second prince is born. Ml doesn't really care for the king position and loves doting on mc. He was cold and expressionless at the beginning but after an assassination attempt at mc it's revealed that he isn't heartless just lonely for affection. He rescued mc and they shared a moment. This is when their love starts to begin where the mc stops thinking of this world as a game and actively tries to get to know and understand ml. Well skipped ahead but she's 2 faced in that she hurts people to get what she wants and acts like she had nothing to do with it. But it seems like she was trying to protect someone and that why she acted that way

Okay so I read a little more but it seems like heroine was being manipulated by a capture target.(don't remember his name) but he was also threatening her by capture someone important to heroine hostage or something. She also don't like the prince. The person that was being used to threaten her with is her brother and it seems like she really likes him. Don't know if it romantic or not.
I MTL'ed chunks of this (not whole thing) but: It's HE. MC marries her villain fiance and they live happily. Villain fiance was assassinated so often (because of his relation to royal family) he also has skills as an assassin to counterattack -- one scene involves an assassination attempt in which he promptly ends up killing the assassin in front of MC. MC was scared of the situation, but far more scared of her fiance going away. Villian fiance's sister (who was meant to be heroine's antagonist) turns out to be a sweet girl who's just a bit headstrong and bad at talking to people (the bad at talking to people part is a big reason why she developed into villain in original story). She clicks almost right away with MC. In fact, she charged over at MC once she found out about engagement with brother and was determined to be good sisters with her lol. She was engaged to the prince for a long time because she honestly liked him, but also broke up with him cleanly once she found out he was romantically involved with heroine. It made her super sad, but MC and co cheer her up. I'm pretty sure she gets together with some other far more deserving guy by the end of the story.
No in the otome game it was a bl, but in the book I think the Hero which is masculine turns into a Heroine which is feminine. I thought that was obvious by the change in the gender of the noun.

No, the otome game was never BL, I think there were some translation error at the beginning. If the story changed from the otome game that was suppose to be BL I didn't see that being mentioned anywhere...
The story was never BL. From what I noticed, it seems the previous translator mistranslated the ge in otoge (which is short for otome game) as gay. Also, if ever you guys want spoilers, feel free to ask, though I don’t really wanna spoil as much as that might ruin the surprise.
She pretty much becomes a close friend of Lizia and goes through some character development in a later chapter.
