so far i've read up to around chapter 22 of the raws:

Spoiler: FL: Duchess Irwen Carlisle

fl is from a foreign country's duchy and she was married to the ml who is a duke and close aide to the emperor to stabilise their country's relationships.

she's transmigrated from a modern life and knows the plot of the novel (i think it's a novel) so she begins to change from the previous duchess who was always ill tempered and avoided the ml like a plague.

HOWEVER the transmigrating into a novel as a villainess cliche comes through as she knows that after irwen dies, fervin ends up remarrying his childhood friend countess stella bell who cares for him a lot in contrast to irwen, so she also distances herself from fervin once his obsessive tendencies come out

she also doesn't think that fervin likes her and doesn't know that she's his first love, so when he brings up having a child with her later, she refuses thinking that he doesn't want to have a child with a woman he doesn't love

since a divorce within five years of the marriage is disrespectful (diplomatically speaking), she decides to live in peace for the remaining year as she transmigrates in the fourth year and sets out to be a proper duchess.

Spoiler: ML: Duke Fervin Carlisle

right hand man of the emperor, he's in a contractual marriage to the fl.

BUT (I LOST MY SHIT WHEN I READ THIS) ppl think that he was forced to marry the fl but it was actually him who urged the emperor to give him this marriage as she's his first love (there's another duke that likes the fl as well but he's not really mentioned yet, also the emperor's younger brother and has silver hair).

when fl first changes, he gets mad and tells her to 'stop appearing in front of him and stop shaking his heart' (AHHBHHHHHHHSDLFKJDSF) and as the fl gradually acts warmer to him in contrast to her abusive past self, his feelings for her that he had buried because of her behaviour towards him before start to emerge and with his feelings also comes his obsession SDFLKJDJFD

the author also said that fervin doesn't like stella who he ends up remarrying in the original novel which is titled 'fervin and stella' and said if we knew what fervin was thinking, then we wouldn't need to worry abt stella (HALSKDFJD I LOVE THE AUTHOR)

also stella is also the only one who thinks that they're childhood friends, fervin doesn't think they are

Heheeee I got spoilers but these are up to chapter 21 and I'll give a brief description of what happened and will only share the fluffy, wheezing and the hot one's in detail cause it's for research purposes.
I'm not gonna write the fluffy, wheezing and hot one's down but have the MTL pictures from naver series.

Well, till chapter 21 we have got FL's brother who's nice and funny. The emperor and empress both are decent but we have bitch which is the emperor's brother, a duke who likes FL and is a infamous playboy. He is in his late 20s but is still unmarried and has chance to take over the throne since the emperor and empress don't have any heirs. This bitch also has the typical, "the girl who'll be cold to my assholic ness and is different from the other ones is the one for me" syndrome. So, he talks trash about our cute ML but don't worry we'll have sweet revenge for it by our FL which is one of it's kind. Mostly there is only much about our main characters of the plot and their interactions. Which is nice and the ML and FL will some social events and rest assured there is no bitch aiming for ML cause everyone knows he will never leave his wife aka FL for someone and most or like everyone likes our FL. (Talking about other ladies and our FL is from a strong country so don't worry.)

I will post the fluffy, wheezing and hot moments on parts because there's a lot up till wher I have read aka till 21 chapter and there is one bitchy moment which was cause by the bitchy brother of the emperor.

It's about the next morning when ML got sober a little bit. It's funny how the ML is trying seduce FL with his body.

 

I got a mixed feeling about this novel. The ML loved the OG Irwen, it's a love at first sight. It's a contract marriage to ensure the peace between the Empire and Irwen Kingdom, but he is the one who urged the Emperor to marry him to Irwen instead of the Emperor younger brother who is famous for his sleeping around with a married or single woman, even prostitute. Irwen actually illegitimate Princess, and her kingdom doesn't recognize illegitimate children, so she is been living as a poor maid in an Inn without knowing her identity. The Kingdom was the one who provoked the Empire first, thus lead to the prolonged war, ML was the one in the charge of leading the battle, the Kingdom was on the losing side, so the Eldest son of the King, choose to surrender and proposed the political marriage, since there is no Princess, he told his aide 'Count something' (later would became Irwen mentor and fall in love with her), to search for his illegitimate sister and pledge to the King to accept Irwen into the royal family, the people accept her because it's an urgent situation but still the nobility didn't welcome her, the only one who is kind to Irwen is the Eldest son, he thinks marrying Irwen into the Empire is the best choice since the Empire is less prejudice against illegitimate children, living as a Duchess in the Empire is better off than being illegitimate Princess of a fallen kingdom.

During the marriage talks, the ML wooed OG Irwen countless times, But Irwen treated him coldly, when the ML kneeling to propose to her with a bouquet of flowers and Ruby wedding ring, she throw them away, the ML still didn't gave up, he even said to Irwen that he would become her 'type' if she didn't like him. OG Irwen actually isn't a bad person, she feel bad when she treated the ML badly, she almost give in when the ML wooed her but she remind herself that the ML is an enemy that make her older brother lose his position and has to bow down to the Empire, accepting the ML means that she betrayed her older brother who treated her warmly and kindly. The ML then prepared another wedding ring with the color of Irwen blue eyes, he thinks if he show his sincerity, Irwen would open her heary someday, but his dream shattered in the wedding night, Irwen threatened to kill herself if he touch her. Still, he always give what the best for Irwen, the best room, the most expensive and luxurious jewelry and dress, the countless maid, even though Irwen never did her duty as a Duchess, she didn't even go out of the mansion, so the ML always alone in a party but he never gave a room for another woman to approach him. During the 5 years of marriage, OG Irwen treated him badly, she either swearing at him or avoid him, but when the OG Irwen fainted and in coma, the ML stayed by her side and the only one who pray for her to wake up, he even kissed her on the cheek, that's when some Korean Girl transmigrated into her body and then the synopsis happened.

Apparently after the wedding ceremony, the OG Irwen said something to her mentor, that she would found a way to make the ML divorced her (it seem she also give her wedding ring to his mentor, I don't know yet if she in in love with him or something). and her way is by abusing the ML and the maids, that's why in the novel when the ML is poisoned, she became the culprit since she always say she is going to kill him, the ML didn't blame her though.

I just think it's weird, because of the transmigration, it basically different soul (or maybe there is a cliche plot twist that it actually the same soul, but she just forgot that the novel actually her past lives), since the ML genuinely love the OG soul, so what does it mean now?

 

It kinda feels a betrayal to the OG FL's soul cause that person never got the chance to feel herself like she was thrown but was picked up for being used and then sent to an empire she has never seen and got married to an unknown man. I'm curious that will ML would ever know that the person he fell in love at first sight is gone while leaving behind her body or there could or might any plot twists..

I just read the whole thing till chapter 60 and now my blood pressure is rising and touching the sky cause of the ugly, two faced, piggy bitches and especially that bitchy brother of the emperor and his side chick whose a blonde that I have given the picture of and now I want y'all to hate these people with me so I'm gonna spoil it till chapter 60 and it will a summary but I'll keep on the cute Moment spoiling series.

Spoiler: A brief summary till chapter 60.

A lot of drama happened in, first thing;
1. We will have a not so called second ML (ain't counting that bitchy brother of the emperor cause he's worse than non biodegradable jerking trash). The second ML is a person who has purple hair and blue eyes and was the tutor of FL when she was being taught manners for being a perfect Princess and he was the only tutor for her and also the OG FL had a crush on him and loved him as well but the second ML is not aware of it but sadly our ML is and was afraid that if they meet again, FL will fall in love with second ML (ain't gonna happen) and he started to cry but was consoled by FL's kiss.
2. That bitchy brother aka DUKE SIBELOM who is cheap third grade playboy and wants to only toy with FL (ugh just die bitch). He is the half brother of the current emperor cause the previous Emperor got horny at the age of 70 and had it taken out on prostitute aka the Sibelom's mother but she's dead so, anyways. I guess he is also infertile cause he had not made a single women pregnant and it's mentioned. He tries to plan a scheme on ML and FL with the help of second ML cause he knows that second ML likes FL but second ML clearly says no to it without hesitation and only wishes the best for FL which makes the sibelom bitch angry. He insults ML's family and says that FL is infertile and makes rumours that they are having a divorce which leads to alot of misunderstanding and makes young girls badmouth FL and try their best to have themselves get engaged to ML but ML shuts all of them.
3. The news of pregnancy, it shuts the mouth of shitty people and FL and ML will have twins. Here they are:

It's in FL's dream and they are cute!!! ML becomes more over the top protective of FL. (Which is actually good). ML even reads bedtime stories to them while they are still unborn babies. The twins hides their nerves while ML is around cause they are jealous and don't wanna share their momma with anyone.
4. The blond bitch is interested in ML and she has been for a long time and is jealous of FL and FL is treated like an empress and even better but has not anything that brings harms to FL cause ML is very protective of FL and the bitch knows and also knows ML only has FL in his heart but stalks him once in a while with a help of her maid.
5. Both the blonde and sibelom bitches are getting married to eachother ( huh good two amoeba trash with eachother). Their marriage is only happening cause she's pregnant but definitely not with sibelom bitch's baby cause she has also been fooling around various men.
6. Empress seemed sus in the last chapter because she seems to invite FL to the place while she is in her early pregnancy. The empress did sent a letter to FL which made Mrs. Tilly, FL's trusting head maid cause of the invitation to the place.
7. There's also an imperial Princess who likes ML and tells FL that she'll be her rival in love but FL plays it cool but falls in the river while saving the princess because of her pregnancy she fainted, the princess didn't do any harm to FL. ML goes naked in order to provide heat for FL's body.
There's alot of fluff in this story which I'll spoil about later.

I personally think that in this novel people are over the top crazy over with children and pregnancy like it's annoying over how almost every chapter contains the talk of children and I know it's important for them to have heir who'll succeed the Dutchy but it's getting really annoying. Like at the end of the day all they want is just are children like c'mon, just chill and stop making it annoying and frustrating all the time.

 

I don’t really feel good about this novel. The ML loves the orFl so much but the Fl isn’t the original Fl. This love doesn’t belong to her which made me uncomfortable. I hope the Fl is the same orFl but she forgot her first life. Anyway, I think this novel would have been very good if the Fl was reborn.
