Once she overhears the duke planning to poison her drink, she goes to town, frees Lizbet from the bar where she's slaving away, joins Mimori and Seras, and they high-tail it out of town. The Duke, being an entitled, evil bastard, hunts her down, personally, along with Asynth. Both groups run head first into Mimori's ability and get wiped out. Then Mimori frames Asynth for the murder of the duke.

Mimori is a sneaky, cunning, magnificent bastard!

You’re right...this novel takes the trope of everyone is evil except the Isekai from Japan (who are the MC’s friends) to extremes...

 

It is almost like someone has been warping the people of that world to their own twisted values for centuries...

Plus a level based world would to easily fall to rule of the mighty, since the power gap between the muscle heads and intellectuals/non-combatants could easily grow to much.

 

Rule of law only works when a bunch of people always is stronger than an individual.
Hence our fascination with Isekai.

 

What I find amusing is how often in these novels the adventurers guild could destroy the nations army since the high ranking adventurers are so much stronger then even the most elite soldiers, yet the nobles who do nothing and barely train keep acting like they are the S%&^ and expect Adventurers to cow to their every whim.

Most times, the countries have their own bullshit strong elites to match said adventurers, they also tend to actually try to recruit said adventurers. And even if the guild has OP adventurers, they can't really order those adventurers to go to war with humans because the guild tends to be specifically for fighting monsters and it would go against their charter.
Not to mention that adventurers are mainly a fighting for against monsters, not humans.

If you see a novel with OP adventurers and no elite soldiers in a nation. The nation is either supposed to be very weak, or the adventurer(Usually the MC) is just abnormally OP, maybe both.
