Would it be a good idea to have a keychain that everyone can see. That’s states how clean you are?

    thanks

@Cutter Masterson while innovation can be good, this isn't. its bad.
no... a virgin could be more easily tricked. a player could steal or forge themselves a -token- saying they don't have an std in this case. and a virgin wouldn't know or possibly care to check if its a forgery.

this is a bad idea all around, why do you still keep thinking of it
in the victorian era, it was absolutely thought std came from women and only women were tested while men visited all the brothels infecting each one.

sex crimes are sex crimes and aren;t reported cuz they involve sex.

this keychain thing also involves sex.

and even if you judge a potetial partner by looks, which i absolutely do too, you dont need a brand that marks them as a convo starting topic .

thats lessens their worth and is undignifying.

@Cutter Masterson what needs to be done is remove the cultural shame about talking about sex

that way couples could just go into a place and get couple std testing without beinig too shy or ashamed.

Nope. Thou I would hope that this endeavor would change that situation and make testing affordable.

and part of that is lessening the stigma about std.

    and making condoms more attractive

aparently in some places in the world condoms have been redesigned as a sort of sex toy. coinicidentally enough, condoms are more used there.

The most common way to get an STD is through intercourse, but that’s not the only way. An my keychain covers all levels. Besides personally I hate condoms. Most I’ve had are to tight.

Dude, of course there different sizes. But even the biggest is a little tight.
As to the keychain. I was only looking for an item that would be readily accessible.

Honestly I'm just gonna 'fess up and say if these things existed and me and my friends bought them, we'd probably wrap them around our index fingers and finger-gun at each other in an invisible STI fight.

You probably right. I haven’t try every kind in the world, but after trying so many I guess I gave up. I guess I could give it another shot.
Still if I had a choice I’d rather be with a STI free girl than the other.

There is also a big question of WHAT type of STD are you talking about. Just because one is HIV free does not mean one is Herpies or Gonorea free and that keychain may be a false indicator of who is "safe". There are a lot of different STD out there and just because someone is free from disease A does not mean he is free from disease B as well. And testing for "all of them" will cost a lot. HIV testing for 1 person IIRC is already 120 bucks. The rest will just add to the cost.

expensive. unsustainable. can be wrong and expired. potential cause of social stigma

@Cutter Masterson seems to be stubborn on the issue tho....

Dam! That much? If this was an ongoing check ups for all STDs. It would be in the thousands. I’m thinking this is a non starter. The details will kill you.

Yeah. Even though I'm technically in healthcare, it is very worrying that the cost is spiraling higher and higher the more high tech we become. IMO, there is going to be a breakpoint soon when all medical research will end up stopping because it simply becomes too expensive to research and the costs are not going to be recovered if anyone wanted to start a company. And it's not so simple as "Cut costs then!". When you start cutting prices, someone will have to take a loss and when people take a loss, they get out of the game fast.

Look at all the research companies, even big ones like Covance got absorbed into Labcorp. Too small a market for too many players, even big companies are folding.
