Lately, I have been absorbed into this novel and finished reading the translated chapters this week. And can't wait any longer (CWAL) for further translations, but I don't know the release frequency for this novel and this irks me greatly. Can someone tell me the time I have to wait for new chapters? Both manga and novel if possible. THANKS

It's on webnovel right now, right ?

On the novel main page there, they should have a release rate.
Alternatively, you can go through the table of contents and take note of the dates of the releases to get a general idea

You can also go to machine translation sites. It's not perfect but MLs are getting good in auto translating chinese that you can understand the story while ignoring some phrases.

Yeah, I tried machine translation sites to read Hail the king and gave up right about the second sentence or so. Then are just not my cup.

Not something outright comedic, but something that's not super dark or cynical. I'll gladly take something that is moderately serious, but everything turns out reasonably well in the end. I'm not necessarily hoping to laugh out loud, but I do want to feel reasonably good by the time I'm done reading.

My favorite authors include Terry Pratchett, Jasper Fforde, Tamora Pierce, Lois McMaster Bujold, and Becky Chambers, if you need a barometer for my tastes.
