yeah, I read Japanese reincarnation novels and magic but then later migrated to Chinese, I still read some Japanese novels but... rarely. My first Chinese novel was steller transformation. Reading the novel felt like you were seeing the scenes and the fighting, it was so well depicted. The epicness and cheats the main character had to prove to his family and his courage to never give up. It was different from the Japanese novels which do not go as dark with killings (except for Overlord). At that time, I did not know what was a cultivator, I thought they were monks that o does not eat anything. I got bored with Japanese novels and only watch some cool seasonal anime and One Piece, Bleach when it was good, and Naruto. You know something, I wish China to do an animation of a good Chinese novel like ISSTH, A Will Eternal, Coiling Dragon, Battle Through the heavens, or Steller Transformation. It is wasted potential, the west will start to liked it like how DBZ and Pokemon opened the market in the west. but the animation has to be good or at least does not make me notice. yeah, that's it for what I have to say. happy 2018 folks

We luckily for me, I began reading novel in sixth grade ha! But yeah I get what you mean and the thing is, there is no need to try and go back to read those old novels because you will probably forget about them eventually.

You are making me feel old...
    Memories of the past...
Time flies and i guess we need to adjust ourselves
Let's first get a successful life before having our deserved rest
We will have all the time available to read when we retire.
So, having said this, I wish you all a successful carrier and to get a job which we will all like

    ---------------
I must say.... quality is difficult to find now...

Agreed. That why you read the ones that are part of a series or Epic Fantasy which are always quite the long read. Makes the investment worth it.

Webnovels are great and all, but sometimes a break is required.

read some western books like Rangers Apprentice, that book is the reason why reading is not so boring to me, used to not liked to read unless forced by the teacher when I was on Middle school and HS

I know, I also reached that point... even worse, I reached a point that I was reading in the middle of the class as if it was normal, I got good grades on the classes I was reading at tho, so the teachers could not say a thing...

Just drop it and read what you think interesting, keep Novel that you drop at reading list and Mark the chapter, sometimes in the future you will feel want to read Novel that you drop then you just read, Novel is for us to enjoy not to force.
