Why do nowday Korean author copy Chinese novels and Japanese novels. They copy Chinese drama, Look the summary sound like Chinese novel summary. I thought it was Chinese novel except western name and title. Title should be like Cinderella run away with ball. Description The penniless noblewoman Evelyn and the Empire’s only duke, Islay. It was a relationship that wasn’t meant to be, so she couldn’t say it. “I’m actually pregnant with your child.” Then Islay’s grandmother came to visit. “10,000 derk. This should be enough for you to get lost.” But now she had to protect the child in her stomach. “100,000 derk.” “What?” “If it’s not that much, I won’t break up with him.” Then she disappeared, and seven years passed. And Islay finally found his lost lover.
This kind of story where the heroine run with a ball is pretty common especially in chinese novel. I see lot a of Chinese author likes to used this kind of plot.
Like my seniors in the industry always say, " great minds think alike, especially when we plagiarise from one another." Second quote, "this is how innovation works, when we try to give little improvement over the same design in order to earn more than the other fuckers."
True, I hate romance like this. I avoid Chinese romance novel like this. Now Korean author start writing romance like this. I am very disappointed, too much plagiarize novels.
Watch a historical K drama recommenced by my big sister. I didn’t like MC, she is too like white lotus, weak and stupid. Too much stupid antagonists. I was always wonder why my friends and sister watch that kind of romance. As for modern romance kdrama, I hate it, I just can’t stand protagonist. This romance drama are just for stupid, daydreaming girls who kept dreamy of their rich Prince Charming coming for them. I sound rude and harsh. I don’t like any romance drama. Prefer animated, funny and family movies.
Korean copying Chinese drama? That's a laugh lol. You simply haven't read or watched a Korean story of this style. I hate to break it to you but these type of stories are very old. There were days when Korean media copied Chinese eg the age of wuxia but not anymore. Korea is too busy copying Japan Also, I don't know how old you are but the plot of Korean dramas even Chinese dramas is irrelevant. Ladies watch it to ogle the hot guys Also, your criticisms coming off as elitist. You are obviously not the target audience. As the great @LivingCorpse put it: These novel are trash but my favorite kind of trash. I want to read cliche novels that I can turn off my brain and enjoy without thinking
Not everyone watches dramas to ogle hot guys.sure, it's nice seeing hot people on screen and all, but I'm in it for the plot.
Even the producers agree. Fans dictate the plot through polls Sorry but you can see what you choose to see but the facts say otherwise. A majority of kdramas are not plot driven
I agree a good majority of the fans do watch K-dramas to ogle at hot people in it or to simply follow their bias. It's just an over-generalization to say all ladies watch dramas to ogle at guys. As I woman myself, I don't watch dramas to ogle at the guys, of course, it's nice when they are hot but it's not what I focus on. Watching dramas is like reading a book for me, it transports me into another world. I am someone who follows shows for their plot and it's never been about the boys for me. I've watched dozens of dramas where I thought the leads weren't all that good looking but I stuck through with the story because the plot was so damn good. No matter how good looking the characters in a drama maybe, if the acting and plot sucks I will abandon it. Anyways I'm not disagreeing with you but to say all ladies are in it for the hot guys is simply not true.
Of course dramas have plot. Some like those by jtBc are very plot heavy. But you misunderstand something, saying people watch dramas to ogle is not in any way me trying to disparage. It is supposed to be entertainment. Sometimes you don't have to take it too seriously. Even if 99.9% of ladies do something, it will never be 100%. This is not an educational forum. I am just making light informal conversation. Being a purist or elitist when it comes to entertainment isn't a good thing. Bad acting can be enjoyable then again I laugh at people who behave like experts when they are not directors or acting teachers. Just enjoy yourself. Flower boys is just commercialization, if your drama if critically acclaimed but not profitable it is still a failure. You don't become a lesser person because you enjoy dramas with alleged bad acting or you watch just to look at pretty boys or girls.
Apparently so..... Honestly I came here to see other people’s opinions about this novel and maybe some juicy spoilers but I didn’t think it would be so heated.
Yeah came here to get some spoiler but It's pretty heated right now ...read that the translator gonna drop this novel & as a reader um stuck in midway..can any kind soul here help me with spoiler plz
Same here, how disappointing to see a silly argument.. The trope of the lover being paid and away from a powerful man being something that actually came from history and happened so many times all over the world and the argument is about the Knovel copying Cnovels.... Noone even talking about the male lead showing such pitiful side in the open.. Keep going saying the novel is copying chinese romance novels, and those 'rape become lovers' absurd novels
