    The name of the novel is "I'm really a superstar". it has been really a very long time since it was updated and I would love to know what happened to it. If anyone has information on its current situation I welcome their feedback. I need information on what happened to said novel. It was my favorite, it introduced me to the world of foreign translated works.

    The author pulled a Zhang Ye, that is to say, his novel ran afoul of Chinese censors who got it banned. But not being a plot-armor sporting protag IRL, he couldn't get away with it.

    The novel was banned by the SARFT if I remember, The author then went on to write a new novel.

    Plagiarism in China? They don't care about that :D

    @ndanuh You read the novel and how the author depicted the chinese censor organization SARFT? There you have the answer. You can't say anything bad about the chinese government/their organizations or you will be cancelled and in this case the SARFT banned this novel.
