    I was scrolling through the forums the earlier today and saw that someone said that IRAS was censored in the translation. I had not noticed this and was curious about the extent of the censorship and the details regarding it.

    Zhang Ye was more perverted in the original script, the censorship happened in like 3 chapters, and once SARFT got involved with IRAS, Zhang Ye's perverted escapades ended. Considering how cringe inducing those scenes were, I'm glad it was censored to be honest.

    TLer did not censor it. The author himself had 2 redact parts due to China censorship.

    Also, it wasn't for many chapters so it is minor, and at times I think the TLer has actually posted the redacted stuff if u wanted to read it.

    Has no effect really on the overall story except making MC less perverted.

    Was it s*x scenes that were censored? because as long as it was nothing related to the main story it is fine with me.

    Nah, just him being a pervert or maybe a chapter about him and Sis Wu doing a camera shoot. You don't miss much by not reading. One of the pervert chapters censored was him feeling up the landlord in her sleep, I believe.

    was it always censored, because I started reading this since it first came out, and I remember those scenes, or did they go back and delete those scenes later?

    It was always censored. But the TLer did TL it so that is why u remember reading them. The TLer just stated that this part or this chapter was censored in China. Which is why people say IIRAS is censored.

    So u dont remember wrong as the censored stuff was actually TLed

    I think the translators took some pirated chapters and translated them if you wanted to read them yourself.

    Photo shoot happened twice and only one was censored. The uncensored version still exists though.
