Discussion I really want to ask.....

Whenever i read CN novels there is one expression that at least comes 1 time in 10 chapters and can go upto 10 times in 1 chapter. It is ' his expression was more exaggerated than someone who ate shit' or ' he was making a face as if he had eaten shit '
So i really wanted to ask that have all the CN authors tasted shit or have they seen someone eating it in front of them. If not then can a chinese guy tell me if there are public shows of eating shit or something like that in your country huh

NOTE - Also for idiots who replied without reading people who dont get sarcasm this is a rant about how much this sentence is used and also i know that this can be a figure of speech (maybe not?) but why are the CN authors so obsessed with it

It's a figure of speech.

As for why they use it, cause they have a chart of phrases with maximum word count and use the phrases that will increase their words.

That's why I stopped reading CN novels. They're definitely not "less is more" type of novels. They use so many filler words and sentences to reach maximum word count. You can just skim the chapters and you won't really miss out anything important.
Of course, I know that's just how their novel works and it really can't be helped. If you can tolerate it, you can enjoy it.

There was this one CN novel where I skipped about 100 chapters, and only missed two noteworthy events. And I still learned almost everything important about those from the fillers in the future chapters.

 

this is the point where should take a break and read something else instead. All cn author are following the genre templates, that shitdian gave to them.

Not always true. Simple solution to the problem you mentioned. Stop reading from authors who write that way - unless you insist for your personal reasons.

Quick and easy distinguishing method that helps identifies word spammers: Those who write single sentence paragraphs are, from experience, word spammers. Find someone who doesn't write that way.

Pretty much. If you don't like how an author writes, it's not hard to just drop that book and pick something more to your taste. There are a billion books out there with better writing so it's not like as if you don't have a choice.
