Hello, everyone. I will keep it very short by only asking: is I Shall Seal the Heavens worth the read? Almost all of the negative reviews say that the protagonist is always being chased by his enemies. As it is the only way to increase the word count...that's what they (reviewers) said, at least. And he always eats pills to get stronger. Surprisingly, there are no side effects. Well, that's what they (reviewers) said . Edit: Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Just read the first 700 chapters which is the best part, then decide to continue or not. Definitively one of the best stories.
well yup those are true but since it's one of the 1st CN series that I've read I would really say that it's worth your time to read. Plus Lord Fifth and Lord Third are just so adorable Have faith in Lord Faith and have an eternal life Bring me Bullies Fur, fudge you don't have furs! and many more
I shall give you the typical response: "Oh, it gets really good after the first xx chapters! At least get to chapter xx before you decide to quit to see if it is for you or not."
it's worth reading. But as for him always being chased by his enemies.................. yeah. pretty much true. It's not really annoying to me though; seems obvious in a world with such different strengths, you're gonna be running away a lot
'cause for some reason he got so OP and just repetitive but if you read a lot of CN series you'll get bored on this kind of troupe
Obviously it has its flaws, with the pills and the being chased but every xianxia has that aspect. At least in this novel the people that chase him have depth, you really dislike them and enjoy him getting even. It has good world building, character building and the cultivation system is THE standard for all xianxia. The whole depth of good and evil and changing your personality in the harsh world that is cultivation is what the novel is about. If you want to nitpick there's enough to complain about but that's the case for every single novel. Just read the first 50 chapters and see if you like the MC.
It's a 1616 chapter long novel buddy. If u can read and bear cn then not reading issth is like being a movie lover and not watching fight club, just because some people say they didn't like the story... Issth has all the great elements. It has great and descriptive action, comedy that makes ur stomach hurt, a health dose of romance, adventure, great cultivation system and everything! Believe me, if u can read until ch 140 something, i won't have to motivate u to read it anymore. I was reluctant at first as well, but then i reluctant read until some 50-60 chapters and then i was hooked... Just hooked!
well since I tried rereading it again after the I completely read it due to boredom but for some reason I can't have the motivation anymore due to cliche
The ending(1000ch+), like all CN novels, is pretty lackluster. But the Journey there was great, with only a few hiccups here and there(western desert). Definitely worth a read once.
It's a really good story, wtf he eat pills all time ? did we read the same story ? He make the pills, he eat pills yes but not every fucking time he want to breaktrough ! Chased by his enemies ? Come on, he is chased by his enemies because he is alone cultivator in the first part of the story but later wtf chased by his enemies, he has enemies yes but they don't chase him like a fucking chew gum under your shoe. Dude, trust me it's worth the read, the story is actually well planned, you see a guy for example in chapter 100 and he is important in chapter 900. AND THE EMMOTIONAL IMPACT of some chapters of the story Spoiler when he make pills when ke yunhai die or when his clone reincarnate 9 times and his 9 lifes are mini story full of drama Chapters like this made me cry.
Hmm, you are tempting me to read it now. Oh well, you at least tried rereading such a lengthy novel. I mean, I could never find the heart to even reread the very first chapter. Thank you for offering your opinion.
They're curtently working ona version that's better paced, and without plot holes, and less plot armour. I'd wait for that one personally.
