That's the stupidest fucking fake dating plotline ever, if he had trusted ripley a little more or done some critical thinking as to why she was asking wright to meet her with étoile, étoile could've had a nice romcom relationship and mc + ml could've observed it on the sidelines to see if it really worked. ML was so smug in his assholishness here that i really can't stand it. Why the FUCK are you looking at her while slowly moving to kiss étoile like this is a test of her love for you WHEN SHE LITERALLY WANTED WRIGHT TO BE THE FAKE LOVER FOR ÉTOILE BECAUSE SHE KNEW YOU COULDN'T DO IT.
