    To get yourself unbanned, the best way would be having a convo with one o the NU staff(not NUF). They are more concerned with trolling regarding tags and stuff. If you show that you are good enough to be unbanned, you will be. It worked for me.

    any tag definition that was edited will no longer editable by normal user after 24 hours. the reason some tag definition editsslipped off is due to the edit being invisible in the normal log. tags on novel, on the other hand, are visible to all, thus it was easy to catch attention and/or get reported.

    The lock comes with the feature, it's not manually locked by the staffs. That's why there's the Cleaning thread for people who wishes to propose a new tag definition for tags on NU. Personally, I ignore all requests to edit definitions that only say "This definition is wrong" or something and left it at that.
