I'm aiming for that direction using knowledge in our world is useful however it depends on what that knowledge is. machinery is useless yes I agree but engineering/metallurgy isn't. You can use that knowledge to build bridges improve alloys and do all kinds of things.

Dude that just totally went over my head haha. Playing with paradox sounds fun but the moment you kill yourself it's possible for you to cease to exist. Though unless you're taking about multiverse you can technically kill yourself without effect the timeline only a different time line would be affected and the you there would disappear.
