    Taking something without repercussion means there is no victim. Therefore, it is not stealing, but merely taking.

    By right, Ai-chan will take it. But herein lies a question, is there a reason for Ai-chan taking it? For example, if Ai-chan is given an opportunity to take USD50,000, Ai-chan will definitely take it. Just half of that is enough for Ai-chan to buy a luxury car here.

    However, if it's 50,000 Zimbabwean Dollar, even if Ai-chan is given the opportunity, Ai-chan probably won't take it. Like what's the point? You can't even buy dinner with it.

    If there are no repercussions... then the irs won't find it weird or find out where I got it, no one else will be harmed/stolen from me taking it, I won't get harmed/stolen from taking it, spending it won't cause any issues, I won't have to get the money through illegal means... so yee
