So I’m a little confused with the translation since it’s keeps switching its references, so I wanted to confirm do they know she is a girl or do they think she’s a man?
If you're reading manhwa from teenmanhua translation then I understand what you wanna say cuz they f*cked up this series's translation as they mentioned our mc as her ,girl etc(teenmanhua translation is literally worst they don't even try to edit their translation forget about gender issue cuz they're releasing pure MTL translation). And ,No it's not confirmed that she's a girl it'll be revealed in somewhere around 70-80 chapters someone mentioned this in thread. Spoiler: Ring The Ring is a magic ring which hides her gender. Ch 6 mtl “Yoy Dell stroked her short pink hair. It was also awkward for her to wear her ring with this psychedelic spell every time.” In ch 19 Joidel realised that she didn’t come to the holy land cause she wanted to and remembered by the name of her parents that they were a “villainous family of the Brikalt Empire. The worst human beings who end up decapitating their throats while colluding with the imperial family to destroy the kingdom. Using forbidden magic” As her parents weren’t surprised by her gender I assume they send her there and probably gave her the ring.
The translation is incorrect, as they address her as a girl in the manhwa translation. In fact everyone thinks she's a he. What I'm more curious about is...later when they do the deed - he technically should feel her pain. Especially when she loses her V. They don't even have the same reproductive organs. But I don't think the author thought about these things lol.
I don't think it's an oversight, I feel it is what is being hinted at at the end of the novel blurb/description: He held me in his arms and his gaze slowly descended to my lips. “I’m curious about to what extent our pain will be shared.” What I am curious about though is period pain, unless she's not really experiencing periods while wearing the ring.
I have read a few chapters! And I'm hooked! I just wonder why the ML didn't realized/suspect that "HE" may actually be a "SHE" provided that the 'pairing contract' is meant for him to birth an heir...
