As far as I remember, in the scene where the FL and her dad are racing each other for the banquet invitation, didn't the duke or his escort knight(one of them) call Astor and FL "unfilial daughters" when they won. That's why I thought Astor was a girl lol. Also, when FL talks about ripping open astor's shirt, isn't it so that Luke stays away, as he dislikes women, and is gay? I assumed astor's shirt-ripping was plan B for keeping Luke away

to be fair, we can't really use the pronouns used in the scanlations (whatever group scanlated it) to prove Astor's sex since it's not really accurate and there might be mistakes in the translation. moreover, the raws, which are in korean language, doesn't have gender-inclusive pronouns so some translations might be inaccurate. we can't really tell which scanlation is correct and which one is wrong. so it all comes down to the other 'proofs' if they are a male or female. the fact that Rosalitte didn't hide Astor from Luke and the 'unfilial daughters' in one chap makes me think that Astor is a girl but the Adam's apple and that muscular back (tho women can have muscular back, Astor's back look like a back of a man ) makes me think that Astor is a boy. the comment about the ripping chest or something, i originally thought that Roselitte will rip Astor's chest (from reading the S+C ver), which didn't make sense first but it was cleared out when i read BCK ver where it's implied that she will reveal Astor's chest to Luke to prove that Astor is a girl. i think we are being 'obsessed', in a way, with Astor's (or Aster, whichever you prefer) sex because it kinda affects the ship? or something similar to that. but im afraid that my comment made us all pay more attention to Astor's sex more than the story itself. so i apologize for that and i apologize for this long reply too hehe all of this 'debate' in different websites and discord channels make me more confused than i was before so i will just settle with: Astor Brown is a cool but at the same time funny knight and they are a very adorable character, whatever their sex is. i don't really care about characters' sex and gender if it doesn't affect the plot that much so i don't care anymore HEHEHEHEHEH I'm already clogging the thread with this block-like reply so ill end it here hehe. happy reading~~

hiya thread!!!! aster/astor is indeed a girl! the story ambiguously deals with aster/astors gender to mess with the reader, which caused the scan groups to replace aster/astors pronouns with he/him in a sort of confusion lol. aster/astor is just a muscular women alongside her brothers! i think the line about aster/astor taking her shirt off in order to show her boobs to prove that she isn't a man towards the "true gay" (luke) is very obviously hinting towards asters/astors actual gender :] doesn't mean you cant still ship aster/astor with rosalite ^_^

"hi!!! bck ktl (and korean) here!! so basically we all were hella confused and all thought aster was a guy at the beginning too, bc its purposely ambiguous to confuse reader (e.g. showing sexy back). however, we realized as we went on that aster is a girl (and are on the process of changing the pronouns we put on bato). the biggest giveaway was when the 'true gay' redhead guy came and fl told all the guys to hide, and said that if he hit on aster, she could just take off her shirt (and reveal her boobs lmao)"
LAST CHAPTER SPOILER The FL passed all the rest flags and finally she could rest in peace, Glenn acquires the title of Baron so he doesn't has to have Rossie's protection for staying safe. That's why she decides to free him from the marriage contract. Rossie and Glenn meets alone in the Oval office to talk about the marriage contract and FL tells him that now he no longer need her protection because he had been able to protect his family and their fortune, so no one could ignore him anymore, besides his uncle supported him. That said, she shredded the their fake marriage contract. Rossie planned to propose him making a new marriage contract because she wanted to stay with him, but he interrupts her before her proposal and starts crying. The FL went crazy because she thought that Glenn hates having to live with her in the future so bad to the point of crying that way. But she was determined to fight for him, so she makes up her mind and gets up from her place to pats him on the arms as it was written in the Roxburgh manual to confort people. Glenn wouldn't stop crying and FL begins to apologize and she tells him that he could be more selfish, but no matter how much he objected, she wanted to ... Before she couldn't end her phrase, Glenn interrupted her again and tells her that he doesn't care about anything of what she was saying, he just wanted to stay by her side and then confessed her that he loves her. FL froze for a moment because she didn't expect been reciprocated and then she replies "Uh ... uh .. yes, I love you too", Glenn looks at her incredulously and blushes even more in contrast to his eyes that were already red from crying so much. The FL thought that he looked like a cute bunny and with this thought in mind she kissed him and wiped his tears. Fragment of the novel: "Listen to people until they finish talking.
