Discussion If you were an MC, what kind of weapon would you carry with you?

I would like to weld a pair of khukuri or a longsword. Or something that can act as both long range and short range. Just straight up explosives is alright too.

Maybe a pocket riffle

 

I like to use the sword that is really long, it's about 6 or 7 feet, but I can't remember what it's called. Lol.

 

I'd get a good bottle of wine. It's got lots of pros.
I can share with my opponent and discuss the viccisitudes of life. Why fight when you can enjoy wine ah┻┻︵¯\(ツ)/¯︵┻┻

Or use it as a propulsion weapon. A flying slam with a bottle is a sure KO.

Or even better, drink myself drunk and pass out.
Opponent would be too disgusted to fight.

Surprise attack, drink a bit, sprays and lit the air with a match. Boom, you have yourself a flamethrower.

If I'm an MC, then I would want to be a poison master and it will serve as my weapon. I also like the weapon that Bai Fengxi from the Who rules the World Chinese drama as a weapon as well.

 

A gunsword cause it can be use as a melee and range weapon at the same time.

 

Outis from Limbus Company has it, though hate to break it to you. But sword-gun is never suitable for long-range, it sucks to aim with your blade as a cross-hair, most of the time this was more suitable for close-mid range combat. Though many prefer to use the gun for point-blank hit to increase the damage dealt to an already incapacitated target, to break limbs or tear their innards.

I have an extreme soft spot for the good old long sword, but when it comes to non-conventional weapons, maybe something like a calabash or ancient bronze mirror. Oh, and the guqin of course.

A pistol that's supplied by your own magic, but if you wanted it to pack som punch. Made a shell for it, insert, and boom. The magic is more focused than when without the shell.

If long sword, how about old Zweihander? And as for old unconventional, what's a calabash? I googled it and it's a fruit. Also, Guqin is sort Chinese sitar right? Personally, I prefer whole piano that has songs to cause 'immersion of perspective' re-determining users and foes's roles as the song depicted; affecting their morale and binding their own mindset to the script of musical notes.

 

-M1882 French Infantry Officers Sword

The one that I own is apparently a later post-WWI model, though they were still being designed as weapons and not purely-ceremonial objects even at that that period. I've actually killed quite a few snakes with it. I honestly don't know that much about swords, but I have handled the American M1860 Light Cavalry Saber before and I think I prefer the French design. I might like the M1913 Patton or the British Pattern 1908 too, if I ever had a chance to use one.

Chinese copy of the Tokarev TT-33. It's a well-designed weapon with a respectably powerful bullet for the size. Hard pick on what kind of pistol I would choose, since I own several, but if finding more ammunition is a moot point then I've gotta say that I prefer the 7.62 rounds to either 9mm or .45

Hey, it's a good weapon for the price. I've taken it pig-hunting more than once and if it's significantly less rugged, less reliable, or less effective than the fancypants Army guns, I've never noticed.

-M1891/30 Mosin-Nagant rifle w/ spike bayonet, 7.62x54mm

Useful game-hunting guns, though I would wants something even bigger if I'm dealing with beasties of truly leviathan stature: .300 mag, .416 Rigsby or the like.

Another good thing about these guns is that either one could fire black powder in a pinch, for which semi-automatic weapons are largely unsuitable. Keeping in brass might still be a problem, though any level of post-stone age civilization at all should have access to copper.

 

I have a scythe. Bend the blade outward and you have a workable polearm.

Agricultural sling blades are also fairly useful in that role. Take the blade, put it on a longer handle and you have a perfectly-serviceable bill.

I think I would like to have like magic powers as my weapon/skills. But if I should carry, maybe like a flower that I can infuse my magic into to fight, otherwise just a sword and small daggers.
