seems like ML's fated partner is her, but why didnt someone show up when she was looking at the fountain?

 

Maybe cause she does not really believe in fated partner or the power of this mountain. One is to believe in it and have to wish for it from the bottom of his/her heart to see his/her fated one. While she did not or might have believed. I am pretty sure by the scene when just after seeing her face she looked away to look at him, i bet his face appeared at that time in the fountain water but she was looking at him and observing his reactions so she missed it. As you can see for him too her face appeared after quite a bit late... he must have wanted to see the power and his fated one but his wish might have been vague but when he was disappointed his wish became stronger that he was unable to have a fated one and that is when his fated one appeared.

Wrong novel unfortunately. That thot is from Dear My Friend and the spoiler thread for that novel describes what happens with Maristella and Dorothea. The answer to your question is

Yes. Dorothea and her parents meet their doom because she does stupid stuff. Maristella gets her happy ending with the ML.

As for actual spoilers for this novel... (These are mtl’d from Naver novel reviews, I didn’t read the novel myself)
- Sienna makes new better friends, one being the newly introduced Chloe. (Duke’s daughter)
- ML is the one who keeps approaching Sienna. (Because of the fountain)
- Daisy tries to hurt Sienna’s reputation/family business by stating that she mingles with commoners.
- Daisy ends up trying to poison Sienna. Sienna doesn’t drink the poison.
Apparently these sabotage/attack attempts/fails repeat a few times
- ML thinks the two are in a relationship for the first little while but it’s one sided and Sienna didn’t think so. (Poor innocent maiden-like ML...) Apparently it’s not because Sienna is overly oblivious, it’s apparently more on the ML in this case so we can assume Sienna isn’t Bakarina/Maristella.
