So like the title said. I just read Isaac, and I quite enjoyed it. For those of you who never read it, mc comes from our world, declared rebel because he told his subordinates(fresh recruit teenagers, given as canon fodder by his superiors) to give up to the enemies to survive. He ended up giving an advice to a scientist to surrender or blow up a nuclear bomb to make the enemy suffer. In the end he made the last stand not giving up, and got blown by the bomb. Any other interesting novels with mc like this?
you call that "easy going"? this is easygoing: Spoiler: Death March just recently Since taking nuclear strikes head-on looked like it would be painful, I got away to satellite orbit
Tensei Shite Inaka de Slowlife wo Okuritai or in english: I Want to Live a Slow Life in the Countryside After Reincarnation
Spoiler: How is this easy-going? He gets reincarnated into a world with magic and swords and finds out he has no knack for either. He belongs to a Ducal house where he's the son of the first wife and his stepmother and sons try to take the title away from him. All children from big houses are supposed to learn in this school and he's sent when he's older than the usual admittance age. So he becomes someone who's allowed to take classes but isn't a student but will get a graduation once he completes five years there. He tries to make his living by selling things that aren't allowed in the school by circumventing the rules. Thus leading an easy-going life
Well, I call that easy going in a way he does not force his decisions on others. Pretty rare quality for an mc these days..
