I can't remember which chapter it was, but I remember the passage implying (in the original storyline) that the mushrooms would've def attacked humans after LF died. (I think it was some insider's perspective..?) Anyway, this is pretty consistent with JH's semi-personality disorder self. After he lost the one thing in this life he cared about, I can definitely see him killing all humans too, whether it be consciously or unconsciously. So I guess he does turn into a big bad BOSS after all, huh? Oh well, I still prefer him over the protagonist and the Americans. But yeah, he's def making the world a safer place in this timeline. ***Edit: It was Chapter 91.
