The novel is fun, but I can't think of not pointing out that the whole point of the MC advancement in his career is copying other people stuff as his own. Isn't that the exact thing for wich the chinese are famous for doing from fighter jets to smartphones to even novels here on NU with God of War art on their covers? XD

 

I keep craving more ! I'm a real fan of children's tales, having read most (but not all yet) tales from Brothers Grimm, Perreault, Anderson and the like (and subsequent "remakes" and "adaptations" in all sorts of genre) so I keep rooting for Zhang Ye !

The landlady, Rao Aimin is in her early thirties. The S-list superstar, Zhang Yuanqi (different Zhang by the way), is also in her early thirties. Zhang Ye is 23.

 

I like that saves are a consumable item. It prevents them from being too big of a cheat and destroying the tension. Though it does make me wonder if he'll be able to buy them from the shop some day.

Could easily be her sister or her former rival then.

I wonder who he'd cast her as? Scarlet O'hara is the first to come to mind, but I don't know how popular it would have been in China given the setting. Maybe one of Audrey Hepburn's roles? They'd all suit the persona she's created for herself.
