Every field is very specialized, so people will always believe there is a limit. He can be good at 1, 2, 3, but he can't be good in a thousand fields, right? There has to be a limit. You need to think from a real world perspective where there isn't superpowers or anything.

 

Under writer's pen , protagonist can do anything. Everything.

What Zhang Ye can do is nothing when being compared to those world-destroying qi of those immortals.
Later, if the writer wants him to fly the spaceship from China to Pluto to dig the frozen nitrogen back to cure Old Wu, he can do that task easier than peeling the banana.

This novel is not the first. Nor it'll be the last. Period.

 

That's how people are. If you're in a specialized field for some time and someone who has no known prior experience comes to shit in your backyard, I'd personally dare him to and think that he wouldn't be able to do it. until i get shat all over. that's how humans are and thats how they would be.

translating this novel, i felt that the author is able to convince me with quite a lot of his human behavior writing (less the harem, but maybe awkward/inexperienced/experienced people would do it his way, i don't know :x ) and the development of the plot. It's only as readers that we are able to use the bigger picture to argue that things are going too smoothly for him, but thats the point novels anyway.

So i just want to say this: don't over think it and just enjoy.

 

I'm just a little annoyed. He does the impossible and then everyone starts saying he can't do the impossible, I mean come on.

We're more than halfway through it... i think its fine to catch up on it already. U need the anticipation effect to enjoy a novel too but it's not too much to wait for anymore

Three or five years from now, you may forget those exciting xianxia novel. But you will not easily forget these legendary artworks, unless you skip read ..

Vulgarity is a part of human socialization, I don't get how anyone can pretend as if it is a bad thing. As long as it isn't taken too far and isn't used inappropriately then it's fine. I don't understand why all the characters are causing a fuss, it's like I'm reading a youtube comment war except it goes on for hundreds of thousands of comments describing every detail of their experience and thoughts.

 

It's a little like the world of football where FIFA didn't support goal line technology arguing that referees and their errors retain the human factor in the game. But everyone else just rolled theirs eyes to that. At least Zhang Ye's introducing a new status quo to them and it's really up to them if they want to accept it.

 

Aye, it just gets on my nerves how stubborn fictional idiots can be.
