Okay so..... I finally stopped being lazy and responded to the email warning I"ve been getting lately from Photobucket about apparently me exceeding the free limit even though I haven't uploaded to it for ages. I come to find out it's not that I hit the data cap..... BUT THEY PUT AN IMAGE CAP OF A MEASLY 250 IMAGES! Doesn't matter how big or small they are. 250 is the limit before they make you pay and this did not used to be a thing. The problem is back in highschool I used Photobucket to store imagines for the "funniest pics" thread on the forum I frequented back then...... well that equaled a total of 2000+ images and Photobucket does not allow for batch downloads as far as I can tell. So unless I have the drive to download every single image one by one its a lost cause. On the one hand I wasn't using that dumb old site anyway but on the other hand I put a lot of work back in the day collecting all those images. Not all of them were that funny but still. So anyway I need a good photobucket replacement just incase I ever need a place to put images (I notice this site also has a funny pics thread.... Might get involved.) It doesn't HAVE to be unlimited storage as long as it's limit isn't anything too small I absolutely need batch upload but would also like batch download just in case Need to be able to share on forums obviously So I know Imgur is popular these days but how is it really and is there anything better given what I want it for?
Please contact a responsible mental health physician about your obsessive posting of cats licking their (deleted) photos on the internet. You sick puppy.
Speaking of Photobucket, I was subscribing for its service for a while. After a few years, I wasn't using it at all so I tried to close my account. Apparently, it is impossible. Photobucket's instructions says that you had to first email them to request stopping recurring payments on your credit card, but after several emails attempts, it seems they ignore that email. Eventually, I called my credit card company to dispute their charges, which the credit card company did and removed Photobucket's charge. One year later, hey, I'm getting charged again. Had the credit card company do remove it again. Note: unfortunately, the credit card company can't set a block on a specific merchant. I'm waiting to see what happens next year.

This. I have 4,635 images on imgur of varying size/quality. Use imgur, and pick up ShareX for easy image uploading to it.
you can use dropbox to host images and files. and then for accessing it, just click the share link and get the url you can leave ?dl=0 at the end if you want to view it in dropbox or replace it with ?dl=1 for automatic download. if your embedding it then do ?dl=1 html HTML: <img src="https://www.dropbox.com/s/bf4t2wblor8drjg/picturelo.png?dl=1" alt="my logo"> bbcode Code: [img]https://www.dropbox.com/s/bf4t2wblor8drjg/picturelo.png?dl=1[/img]
If you really care about them, you can probably macro download them. I'm sure someone made an extension or program to automate it if you are too lazy to do it yourself. As for hosting, I just have them on my hard drive and I upload them to imgur over if I have to... god forbid something happens to my cat pictures collection...
