That is pretty much what he is thinking.
When it was soloing bosses, he later learned that there was a first clear reward.
When it was the promotion from second to first dungeon, he learned there was beyond.
He pretty much regrets that he didnt realize this earlier so he could pillage all of the extra rewards.

infinite is an earlier work. It completely possible he took aspects from his previous work and improved upon them. Even if this queen is just another mindless subservient bimbo like his harem and tamed monsters. I am hoping to see some aspects that would one day become best succubus Waifu in his next work
