So this one novel, I had read far in but I dropped it or caught up to updates. So one of the scenes was that the MC had to experience his inner demons which was the people he killed along with another person. That other person became nice and made the people she hurt forgive her, because she’s some saint or some bs. But the MC just repeatedly killed his inner demons revenge souls making them fear him more, which wasn’t orthodox and yeah. Answers?
"Inner demons" could also be viewed as regret. Their approach to dealing with regret might seem completely different from each other on the surface. To me though they dealt with it in almost the same way. The female ended up accepting and loving all of them. The male however, decided to make all of the same "mistakes" over again. It could be said though, that both of them, in their own way decided that they regret nothing.
