    But I enjoyed it. Not exactly scary and the ending was a bit cheesy but I'm a sucker for a good redemption story. And I can honestly say I was never bored watching it.

    The characters were likable and the acting was competent. It's also really a mistake to compare this to Train to Busan because, other than the zombies, they're not much alike.

    I really enjoyed the zombie effects a lot but I think the car driving effects could have been a little less Fast & Furious and more on the realistic side. But that's just a nitpick!

    Return of the Living Dead (1985) is one of my favorites, its rooted in the punk sub-culture from that time period and is also a more comedic take, but it doesn't let the humor undercut the horror aspect like a lot of other zombie comedies end up doing.
