Wingboss: The recently-coined term for a new breed of bosses (in manga) who encourage budding workplace romance. Warm and considerate, they answer to reader-fantasies of the ideal superior. They also function as reader-inserts in their voyeuristic enjoyment of fluffy moments b/w the leads. Moreover, the hint of intrigue that accompanies a wingboss adds extra oomph to the story. It's just manga, not RL. *scoffs* Even I don't hv much faith in RL romance. And not all of them meddle nor do they throw their weight around. If you don't read this genre, it'd be hard to understand, TBH.
