On thing I can never get over is the armor belonging to females. Seriously, I know its for fans but the practicality of wearing a skirt to a war is beyond me. And what the hells the point of a shinguard when your thigh, belly, face and arms are free for the taking.
The premise seems like it holds a lot of promise, as long as it doesn't turn into the usual generic ecchi harem. Although judging from the illustrations it appears to be 99% romcom, 1% tragedy.
I dont think that is their combat uniform. It seems like their study uniform. Although I too get your point, the eternal mistery of the "bikini armor" and his descendants.
oh god i remember reading this some months ago... has a beginning thats like hai to gensou no grimgal. don't really recommend much of it unless translator can go up to v3 since v1-2 sucks. Spoiler the dude whos the smiley guy dies protecting his team because the MC/team said "we can fight this demon and win!" Editspecifically the MC was the one who wanted to save a village or something, other guy said no, MC rushes in) ... seconds later into the fight: NOPE
Maybe you shouldn't think of it as armor but as magical artifacts. Maybe this shin guards increase her agi stat.
