    Has there been a huge upswing in Yaoi/BL novels, I find it odd and hilarious at the same time. There’s no problem with it, but I truly didn’t know China was so open to homosexuality, and apparently there’s a huge readership in the English-speaking world too.

    So has there been a upswing in BL novels or am I just subconsciously clicking on random titles that turn out to be that? Lol

    Open to? No way. It’s China. Any BL that hasn’t already been censored is clearly endangered!

    We have to protect the Chinese BL by translating it and bringing it out of that dangerous place. That’s why you see so much BL being translated now: it’s a conservation effort, for posterity. We can’t allow such important cultural history to be lost!

    It's been popping out for a while, like for the last few years, but especially 2019. I mean, I'm not complaining!

    Isn't that a good thing? As a fujoshi I really appreciated that more BL being translated. In the NU earlier days, only a few BL novel being translated that I had to wait for days sometimes weeks for a single chapter. Now there are so many BL novel to read. NU becomes my haven:blobsmilehappyeyes:

    Didnt notice who wrote this at first but color me surprised it's you, I couldve sworn it would be @LaDyViL or @remy911 .... well I'm not surprised you would write this just more surprised that they didnt

    We should start a raffle to guess how long to the next "why is there so much yaoi/BL" thread. And a mega raffle for how many of these threads will be made by the end of the year.
