I am currently taking a creative writing class. My instructor told me that she like my story but it is a bit sexist.
Of course I was a bit confused. I can only think of one part of the story that she could be talking about.
This is a short part in my story.
    Male - Law, Boe, Kolra
    Female - Gris, Cidney

“Law, you could be a bit more kinder you know. My butt still hurt a lot.” Boe continued to complain while fake crying. Law really want to kick Boe’s butt seeing Boe’s fake cry as he opened the door to the meeting room to see three people dressed in the standard black military uniform waiting for them.

“Wow you just got confessed to and now you’re cheating I see. Can’t say I didn’t see you being the bottom.” A sarcastic voice greeted Boe and Law as they entered the room. The voice came from a man who looked like he just hit early twenty but is instead in his late twenty sporting a short clean cut look with blond hair.

“Of course Boe has to be the bottom. Can you even see Law taking it, although that wouldn’t be bad either.” A petite girl respond to the man while trying to hold in her laughter. The petite girl had brown elbow length hair draped over her left shoulder.

“Gris, a girl shouldn’t be thinking of those types of things and Kolra, you shouldn’t make fun of them can’t you see that Boe didn’t even understand what is going on.” Squad Leader Cidney stood up to greet Law.

I can't see where there would be any sexist in the story.
Is it sexist for two guys to have sex with each other?
Is it sexist that Boe can only be seen as the bottom if he is with Law?
Or is it the part where Cidney tell Gris that a girl shouldn't be thinking of two guys have sex with each other?

Please give me your thought on this topic.
No sexual action has happen in the story.

....I am going to be sexist by saying your instructor is too sensitive as she is a, well, female. Because I am having an understanding, as a guy, that gay couples are normal, blond boy calling Boe to be the socket and the one of the girls nodding might be offensive, but then again this is the usual shit with your buddies. Also, girls fascinating guys and BL is normal.

Does your instructor not know that a character's perspective doesn't necessarily reflect the author's views? Unless you go about glorifying such a character or endorsing such a view through(out) your narrative, there shouldn't be any problem. If she wants you to write only safe and hygienic pieces, you're better off quitting her class.

Why didn't you just ask your instructor to clarify what they meant. I mean explaining it to you is literally in their job description.

This is one of those situations where I stand by the following: "It's only weird if you make it weird."

I would say the only sexist part I can see is "Gris, a girl shouldn’t be thinking of those types of things" maybe change it up to "don't be inappropriate" or something neutral?

I guess does make the most sense but is it enough to say that it's sexist? That is only One sentence in a 6 - 10 page story

HAHAHA she did actually say some thing similar. My original name for the character where too white she said.

Let's be real here, in current year, anything and everything is sexist/racist/etc. Reasoning and logic is somehow became a symbol of patriarchy or something, biology is somehow a social construct, good writing with 3 dimensional characters that have their own strength, weakness and differing ideology and beliefs is sexist.

Yeah I guess so but I don't think I'll be changing it since the term is almost over.

Too white? What the heck does that even mean? Last I checked people usually name their kids based on their culture and language you know like japanese people giving japanese names to their kids... unless a) they lived in another culture all their life, b) they really really like the name of another culture or c) they are webs for other culture

Both? She point out the story and not the character or phrase.
