I don't know why, but I get really random thoughts at night.
Anyway, is there a Chinese equivalent for Yandere? Or something that means super possessive that's it's scary and shit.
Cause I have decided that right now, I want to read about some poor soul suffering from a Yandere. (Like 'the reader and protagonist definitely have to be in true love' or sth. Can't really rmb the name right now.)
And since I can read Chinese, I was just wondering if there was a Chinese equivalent.
    Thanks!

There's probably a word for a similar description somewhere in chinese, but it might not necessarily be common or easily understood.

And well, if you want to read about yanderes in CN, start with CN novels with female leads.

No it's not. Black belly would be haraguro.

    Very different from yandere.

I've seen Chinese novels use that term too.

There are all sorts of Chinese words that are used to describe jealousy, but none of them precisely encapsulates the idea of "yandere". If a Chinese writer were to want to mirror that exact sentiment, then he would probably just use the Japanese term (he would probably be an otaku anyways).

Rule of thumb: you're probably not going to find anything in a different language that's going to be equivalent to a specialized otaku term. These terms tend to be twenty years old at the most, and they didn't even exist in Japanese before this period.

In Chinese novels everyone kills everyone so when everyone is a yandere no one really is.
